The fight continued quickly, with Ultima narrowly dodging my strikes from my Saber.
The opening in the field seemed to be her boundary. Novi, Mizu, and Khalil all stood on the sidelines as we continued to throw strikes at each other. It had seemed that, after all this time, I refined myself to the point of perfection.
Anything Ultima threw at me was blocked, deflected, and pushed back with equal force. She was not able to keep up with my prowess and suffered greatly from the speed and capabilities of my body.
[I feel something charging within her. She's now taking hits on purpose.]
Hikari spoke up from within my mind once more, allowing me to perceive an angle of the fight differently. Ultima was accepting the fact that she couldn't be hit, and was instead taking hits all over her body lightly. I feinted six strikes in a row, punching her in the stomach each and every time that she reacted to the feint.
[Her right hand has the Eternia Palm on it with the black coloring. Careful.]
I paid attention to Hikari's warnings and purposefully made an attack at Ultima's left arm. She smiled as she let it take the damage and the cut straight through her bone, and moved her right palm up to my head.
With a wicked smile, I could tell she had something planned.
I used my gravity on her right knee, throwing off her balance and cutting her right arm off of her body too, before kicking her in the chest and launching her into a tree that began to fall after suffering too much damage.
"You son of a bitch..." She muttered. She clutched at the ripped bark on the edges of the trunk, pulling her body back up to match with me once more.
"Strangely, I've met my father, and I couldn't agree with you more. Although, maybe 'daughter of a bitch' would've been better," I told her. I flipped my Golden Saber in my hand, watching it burn the grass from the intensity of the flowing Strands.
[Exploit her. Explain the Eternia Palm to her.]
[Eternia Palm: An ability exclusive to Eternia's that allow oneself to transport anywhere in the world so long as your Strands have existed there once before. Its cooldown is One Month and cannot transport anything but yourself and others.]
"So..." I brought up another topic with Ultima, waving my right hand around and letting Golden Strands mark my hand in the same way she had black markings on it.
"Transporting anywhere in the world so long as you've been there. You can only use it monthly and you were trying to warp me some place else? Why's that? You don't want to kill me here and now? Or... can you?" I asked Ultima.
Her eyes grew wide in surprise as I deciphered her trump card, seemingly wielding it on my own body while I chuckled. I waited for Ultima to speak up at the adverse reaction she displayed, but she remained silent, attempting to find a weak point of mine.
[She is waiting for something. Somebody else is about to interfere in this fight.]
Hikari gave me a suitable warning. It was so confident and so calm that I was able to stay calm as well, watching Ultima as she started to cross her arms. I could see it now. Not as soon as Hikari, but I caught onto her body language.
As I pushed gravity lightly off of my body, I started to notice that the ground was shaking. Something was in fact trying to get to me, to sabotage me as soon as possible. Novi didn't show the same level of preparedness as Ultima did, which led me to believe that she didn't have anything to say about this.
At the very last minute, I felt the emitted gravity off of my body change. I backflipped as soon as possible to watch the man who called himself my father charge right behind me. With the way he planned to strike my spine from his path, Oberon was attempting to kill me.
I slammed my Golden Saber into his shoulder in response, jumping off of his shoulder and pushing my body a bit higher off of his falling body.
Landing once more, I prepared my fists with Golden Strands wrapped around them and waited to hear from Oberon once more.
Oberon was wearing a strangely large necklace with an orb in the middle... the same orb that Sky was sealed within.
Right above the necklace and the orb, intertwined between circles that were combined stood another orb, right above it.
Ah... I understood now.
Even without Hikari telling me, Oberon, Cynthia, and Ultima were convinced that I was a dangerous foe. It made me smile...
They planned to seal me as well.
If I was taken out of the battlefield as well, with Ra, Khalil, Mizu, Charlie, and Charlotte left with fighters like Cynthia, Ultima, and the ten parents, they stood no chance. I was the last line of defense... or so I thought.
Faith Asterio was an ally who could easily take out everybody remaining. A girl I feared that had become stronger than me in a measly hour. I smiled, knowing that no matter the result of this fight, Faith could single-handedly change the course of my fate.
"Is this apart of the Eternia Law as well? Call in help when you start losing?" I asked Ultima, locking eyes with Oberon.
"Tradition cannot interfere with our plans. I'll have to leave you to Oberon, sorry, Dani, maybe you'll be able to kill me next time--" Ultima was stopped in her path as her stomach was punctured with six Golden Sabers, all coming from the forest.
At the same time as the six sabers impaled Ultima, six more fell straight in front of Novi, and were thrown into the tree right beside Mizu.
At my command, all twelve of the Sabers I created in the forest were slammed into people I aimed at and wanted dead over everybody else. Oberon was left unfazed, watching me as I fixated on the orb hanging off of his neck.
