Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Epilogue IX

---Sky's Perspective---

The conflict had settled down after we made it back to Alicas. The meeting had ended, and Khalil allowed us all to have our own long-range radios we could use to call for help. Although it was tough, Acchi, Raiden, and Chikyu were willing to help me out in the coming conflict.

On the morning of January 10th, 2447, I was contacted by a girl from a long-range. I could see her on the very top of a mountain. My senses could detect that she was dangerous, but she wasn't moving. Before I knew it, I connected with her flashy pink eyes and again found myself lost in the Black Lake.

"I haven't been to the First Trial in ages..." I muttered to myself. When I turned around, Fico was staring at me with violence dancing across the bottom of her eyes.

"It has been a while, Sky Asterio."

"I'm sick of the greetings, what do you want?" I asked her. I placed my left hand on the back of my head, searching for a door that would allow me to escape.

"It's not about what I want. It's about the next steps. I'm sure you've been thinking about what comes next since Cynthia is weakened and Eirikr is dangerously close to returning to Earth by our actions. Do you know what has to happen?" I shook my head at Fico's question, and she scoffed.

"We have to fight. I've seen it in her visions, so long as we fight, you will lose."

"What if we don't fight? What if you join my side and we fight Eirikr together? This world is going to need multiple powerful people after I kill him." I explained to Fico, but she shook her head again and walked closer to me.

"There seems to be a misunderstanding somewhere. Sky...Cynthia may misconstrue explanations in front of you, or put on a show, but she knows all and sees all. And I'm telling you, right now, if I ally with you, the outcome is not good for either side." Fico was desperate. If she was telling a lie, she was doing a good job of deceiving me.

"What are you trying to say about this outcome? You're cryptically talking and it's pissing me off." I yelled.

"The only outcome in which Earth is preserved is a future where Eirikr, you, and I all die, and Cynthia is the only one left alive."

Thank you all for reading Volume 9! At this point, I made a final draft of Survival Evolved: Incarnation with an entirely different name!

Chronicles of the White Stone is the name of my novel on Amazon! Please support me by buying the much-improved final draft.

This volume was interesting to write, as we had another side story at the end involving Ra! From where we left off, things are reaching their climax in the Incarnation Saga. Readers, we're in the endgame now.
