Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Across The Frozen Sea

---January 2nd, 2447---

After the day of recovery from the New Year's parties, Sky, Dani, and Khalil all assembled to mention the World Leader meetings to the Arkians.

"So, we're asking six people to come with us. Ruby, Dani, and myself will all be going," Sky mentioned. The Arkians gathered around the table and started to look around.

"I'll be the first to abstain. Alicas needs a defender, and I don't... see... a better option," Carl offered, pointing to his keen visual prowess. Sky smiled at his joke, looking at Lia and Lily next.

"I don't want to leave Lia alone again. I appreciate the offer," Lily said to Sky. He willingly nodded, showing no signs of irritation to her.

Lia also agreed to stay behind with Lily, so Sky turned to Charlie, Alex, and the two people from Ultima Tower before it was destroyed.

"I'd like to go. Both Charlotte and I," Charlie said. Charlotte nodded at his request, and Shike raised his hand.

"You can always count on me if nobody else wants to, but I'll play defense as well. Belle and I have no problem watching over the city while you two are out," He clarified. Sky thanked him with a bow, then looked toward the next set of Arkians.

"Will you let me go?" Mizu spoke up through the crowd. Sky had forgotten that Mizu joined his plight, and had been training beside Alatus and Fudo the entire time while he wasn't watching over her.

"I don't see why not, but I'll keep you on standby most of the time. It's important that you stick by my side," Sky told her. Mizu nodded, yet didn't understand his system of keeping her safe.

So far, Charlie, Charlotte, Mizu, Sky, Dani, and Ruby were going to The Americas with Khalil, leaving three more spots open for the other Arkians.

"I'd love to go if you'd allow me to leave my duties here," Mandi asked next. Simultaneously, Boo summoned the courage to follow.

"Count me in," She clarified. Sky nodded, looking for the last person.

"I have interests there," Ra, who had been absent from Sky's main group since the fight with Quake, spoke up, expressing his desire to go as well.

"I'd love to approve, but we already came to the conclusion that your father would have to be involved in all of your decisions. Talk to him, then we can decide. So, we have Charlie, Charlotte, Mizu, Mandi, Boo, and Ra. I can handle this team and would appreciate your cooperation," Sky told them.

"This isn't like some sort of operation, it's purely a visit to attend the World Meetings. Don't sweat it!" Mandi shook off the importance of the meeting, grinning widely.

"True, I don't know what I'm all worried about. It's just nice to have trusted people. So, Khalil, what's the main form of transportation?" Sky asked next. He looked at a piece of paper on the table and Khalil began to discuss his plan.

"I got here from a boat, but technically, for those who are able to move as such, you could just fly there or run across the water. For people who can't, we'll take my boat on over. It's loaded up with supplies and whatnot, and it's only about a three-day trip, so it's not much to deal with. The only bad thing is the Leviathan, a sea monster I frequently run into. My Aura usually pushes him away, but I don't want to avoid mentioning it because I'm confident," Khalil stated. With Sky and the others nodding, the Arkians who refused felt relief.

"I'm not sure anything can hit us, not with my Strands. Not to worry, if the Leviathan surpasses your Aura, he won't threaten us again, I can promise that," Sky told Khalil. He rolled up his sleeve, letting strands climb up his arm for dramatic effect.

"Right, but, let's not get ahead of ourselves. During the Apocalypse all that time ago, some of the food chain on Earth went missing. Prey lost, Predators had nothing to eat, so the Leviathan was brought in to stabilize whatever prey were running amok," Khalil explained next, he modeled out the scene with his hands, making a wagging finger for the Leviathan.

"I would like to know much more about our past if you at all find it possible. Where can I learn the information? Do you have libraries in The Americas with that information? If so, I'd like to bring a few books back or copy them," Sky said. His interest in knowledge helped the Arkians reminisce about his interest in killing his foes and how largely it had changed. Sky was quite the man in every one of their eyes.

"Look at the scholar! Very impressive," Lia nodded at Lily's comment and the two giggled.

"Teaching the next generation about the past we still don't know about is my top priority now, that and keeping all of Alicas, including me, safe. All part of the big plan of this scholar," Sky said. He playfully waved a small notebook in his coat pocket to everybody around the table, silencing their sly comments about his interest in history.

"Yeah, we got the libraries you're looking for. The United World Library is in Eurasia unfortunately, so we can visit that another time. So, any other questions?" Khalil asked the Arkians. Mizu raised her hand as soon as possible.

"Will my mom be there? Is there any chance of it?" She asked. Sky was unsure, but Khalil seemed certain.

"Most certainly. It's required of us World Leaders, and even if she's been gone for nine months now, there's a chance she'll be there. She might want to know the status of the world we live in now. If not, then we'll find her. You have my word!" Khalil declared with a hearty chuckle.

With all being solved, Sky, Dani, Charlie, Charlotte, Mandi, Boo, Mizu, Ra, and Ruby all prepared for their journey, packing their bags, and heading over to the station where Khalil parked his boat after wishing everybody a farewell.
