A Valuable Ally

"A True Deity? Come on, you're using too many words." I told Eo.

"It's no secret that you share the abilities with a Deity who already exists, but if you don't inherit that status, it would be absorbed by another," Eo said, adjusting in her seat while staring out of the window. I followed her eyes. It's really crazy, we're actually in space...

"How many Deities are there? It seems like there's a million." Charlie broke the silence of staring outside and Eo turned back toward him.

"Three, that you need to be concerned about. There's Illya, Ali, and Providence. Right now, Ali and Providence are fighting in The First Trial, and all three of them are there. If Ali dies and Providence wins, Illya would kill Ali so she can split off the power to Sky. If Providence wins, she could absorb the power and possibly kill Illya. Either way, that power can't be split off if we want to win." Eo explained.

I see...

"So, it's a system of three. If one goes, it has to go somewhere else. And we want to put me into that cycle when one of the Deities dies, right?" I looked to Eo for affirmation when she nodded. I understand a lot better now.

"We'll have to put you back into The First Trial, so it'll come with some more strain, but once you're in, you can take the power. I'm not sure how to do it, as I'm not a Deity myself, but you'll be able to tell. Alright?" She asked me again.

"Sounds like a lot, but I'll manage. You guys won't be supporting me, will you?" I asked Eo and the others. Their eyes darted around as we started to land.

"No, we can't enter without a White Stone," Eo said. The flying disc finally came to a stop and the door opened up. This time, we had Alatus with us as well with Fudo.

I was the first one off, walking to the dome that held Illya and Sky within it, and I just stared for a second.

I can't believe what's happening right now... everything makes sense, it lines up perfectly, and I can't complain about the current circumstances, but if things were different, I'd want to be friends with Illya.

I have to clear my mind of any hatred because I knew that if I fell into that hatred again, I wouldn't come out until I got what I wanted.

No matter who got in my way.

"Dani, you've been staring at us for a while, are you alright?" Lia asked while following my stride. I realized I had been lost in thought and started to stare at everybody without thinking.

I can't do it. I can't kill them... I need to stay focused.

"Alright, Eo. How do I get into The First Trial?" I asked her again.

Eo explained that I step into the dome with Illya and Sky. How I would do that is beyond me, but if I was able to get in, I could directly enter The First Trial by closing my eyes and thinking about traveling. It sounds simple enough, but in execution, might prove to be a challenge.

I put my hand against the dome in an attempt to join the two of them, but my hand was pushed away.

Not just by the solid object, but by some mysterious force. It sparked and shocked me as I winced in pain and shot backward.

"It's a strand dome, I haven't seen anything go through it, in my entire life. That's why I'm not sure how you would get through, but we need solutions before it's too late. Does anybody have any ideas?" Eo asked everybody.

We all got to brainstorming... but I'm afraid I don't patience for this stupid thing.

I summoned a saber in my hand and cut below the dome, revealing an edge that Illya didn't intend for anybody to bypass.

Cutting into the floor with the saber and burning away the glass by slowly dragging it around proved to be useful as I was able to slip my arm through.

"Damn... I couldn't even come up with a single thing." Mandi muttered while I tried to move my body in a way that would let me interact with Sky.

Eventually, my arm bent in a way where I could touch Sky's leg, and when I did, I was met with a rush of emotions and a burst of chills that made me freezing cold.

"What the-?!" I yelled out, dragging my arm out of the dome.

I held my hand in pain, and when I turned it from the side with my White Stone, I could see a rock of ice coming from my palm.

"Eo, what is this?" I asked, turning it over to show it to her. Eo glanced at the rock, and then looked back to the dome.

"Belle... Dani, there are more people in there. I should fill you in on the full details while I can. First off, I'm impressed you figured out a way around the dome before I could, and second, Sky has another group of friends." Eo began again.

"Shike Asterio, a white-haired boy who has a kind smile. He's been Sky's best friend since day one, as they group up together as kids all the way up until these current events. He's the most level-headed and strongest, as he possesses the abilities of Kineticism. He's the biological brother of Alexia Asterio. Alexia is a smart girl who's pretty calm, but in intense situations, she can mess up pretty easily. She has orange eyes like mine, and she's pretty easy to call out." Eo finished.

Shike... I already met him... he was Sky's best friend, then?

"More Asterios… and hey, what's that Kineticism he possesses?" Ellie decided to ask Eo before she finished.

"The abilities of the second White Stone, Xian. The ability to transfer kinetic energy to wherever need be. When awakened, this ability could probably even stump Illya..." Eo's eyes slowly guided themselves over to Illya's body. Interesting... Shike would be a valuable ally then...
