Hikari continued to explain to Sky that during her learning processes under Genesis Asterio, he taught her the basic principles of the world. The way molecules form, bind, and turn into all sorts of things was something she was proficient in. Hikari, at least to those who knew her, was probably the smartest person alive.
Through her given processes, Hikari was able to discern the best method for completing almost every action the human body could possibly do. The problem for this method was that Hikari's path of thinking took a while to charge, and a while to execute.
"One of my downfalls isn't the limit of what I can do, but the process and how much of a load it would end up being on my brain. I can pull out all Strand Abilities to ever exist, but concurrently using them is a whole other story. Sky, I can be a farmer, a lumberjack, anything Charlie wants me to be, but the amount of time it might take could be a lengthy bit," Hikari explained. The three sisters gathered around a table with Sky and Ruby, who took the lead of the repair of Alicas.
Sky and Ruby, Part-Leader and Part-Leader, were working hard to establish a new legislative system in which the people would come first, and the two part-leaders would focus on serving the people. Each would get equal power in the system, needing equal agreement to pass any laws.
"Well, what do you think, Sky?" Ruby asked him. The two had their own special scarfs, made to symbolize two halves of one hole.
"It's not up to me, we should let Charlie make the decision. We can use Hikari's powers somewhere else if need be. We won't have Umbra because she needs to head back to Karia. Dani and the others would be able to find a place for Hikari," Sky mentioned. He crossed his arms, still donning his tattered outfit from the battle with Cole. He only wore the blue and black scarf around his neck, falling down to backside.
"We'll call upon Charlie anyway. Look, as for our food problem, we need to take some serious steps toward that. This shit doesn't just appear out of nowhere... Umbra, if you'd please let us dive into your stockpile, we could trade some other material for it. Say, metal? When Sky dug underground, he launched metal everywhere, not even mentioning the slag that spouted from the center of the Earth," Ruby chuckled while bumping into Sky's shoulder with her own. She was strangely happy, even after being impaled by an arrow after the fight.
Sky was confused with the flow of things, knowing that leaving after destroying a civilization was no longer an option or what he was used to, and found it impossible to deal with the repercussions of his own actions.
"I can use my speed to get materials from one place to another. Trees from where ever to Alicas, materials from Karia to Alicas, anything to anywhere," Avie offered. She held her hand up, offering her services to both Sky and Ruby.
"Getting things to places sounds like an issue we have solved, now what matters is distribution. It's seven thousand people. That's no small number, and if we don't do distribution right, people could start dying. We have the technology to get things where we want, but giving them out? It's a whole other monster," Ruby declared around the table.
"We're overcomplicating it. Transporting food is distributing it. Once we get it into Alicas, all we have to do is set up places and people will come and find it. Everybody is sensible, they know they're in a bad spot right now, I highly doubt they'll say anything too negative," Sky suggested. He shrugged his arms while offering an explanation, but Ruby shook her head.
"That's where we differ, Sky. The people I take care of are Humans, not Arkians. Arkians aren't... as easily led by the masses as humans are. From what I've read, Arkians are more inclined to be leaders than anything because they were designed better than humans. What's important to consider is that humans are very, very easily persuaded to blame whoever they can in time of a crisis," Ruby explained to Sky. It was a concept he never had to deal with before.
"Then, it's still easy? That's what I'm hearing. I don't view them as any more troubling than Arkians," Sky explained. he got up from the table, stretching his body out while walking to the door.
As he put his hand on the makeshift door, it flung open from a kick, and what filled the door was a strum of a loud guitar that shocked Sky greatly.
"YO!" A girl screamed out. She had black hair down to her hips with a few strands of blue, pink, and red swinging around as she strummed the guitar. It was loud and obnoxious, housing a noise that Sky had never heard in person from, but knew from his distant memories.
"Lou-Lou, this is an important meeting, I told you if you had something important to add to enter, what is it?" Ruby asked. She talked in an irritated tone, as if she was used to Lou-Lou's appearance in odd circumstances.
"Right, and Roobs, I'm totally sorry, but I found my guitar in the rubble! Woah... are you that Sky guy everybody talks about?" Lou-Lou asked. She peered down at Sky, who collapsed under the surprise of her presence.
"Yep, that would be me. I'm not certain of who you are, obviously a friend of Ruby's?" Sky asked, pushing his body back up to his feet.
"Roobs? Yep! I'm Lou-Lou, I have a ton of names, but you can call me by my band name, Big L," She expressed, tapping her feet and loudly strumming the guitar in one swoop for an exaggeration of her own name.
"Big L...?" Sky asked. From the time he remembered, that was an expression of something awful... but Lou-Lou wore it so proudly.
"Anyway! I wanted to put on a show for you! You know, as one last 'hurrah' for saving our city. What do you say, Sky?" Lou-Lou asked him. He sat, dumbfounded at her offer for a present, but willingly agreed to it, thinking it would be good for morale.
