I wasn't deterred when I saw her looking at me like this.
Instead, I looked right back at her and said, "You've already promised that you would listen to me. Are you going back on your promise now?"
Andrea knitted her brows even more when she heard this, but she eventually shook her head.
With a sigh, she said, "I'm sorry, I was too carried away."
I patted her on the shoulder as I said, "I know the way that you're feeling, but it's too dangerous for you to do something like this. Not to mention, you are the one that they want in the first place, so we can't just let them get close to you like this."
Andrea slowly gave a nod, but the look in her eyes made it clear that she wasn't fully convinced.
It seemed that there was still a part of her that wanted to take action herself…
So I said with a sigh, "Sometimes, you have to learn to trust others. You have to trust that we're doing what is best for you."
