Yang Ping invited the engineer from the manufacturer of the anesthesia machine to specifically explain the structural principles, and the judgment and elimination of some faults. This knowledge, although infrequently utilized, was necessary because it could save time and aid anesthesiologists in understanding their machines more profoundly.
Nurse training took place in a separate room. Head Nurse Jiang, along with Xiao Su, were training other instrument nurses. They had to familiarize themselves with the process of each trauma orthopedic surgery, even being required to simulate it once. Only then could they deeply understand the surgical steps and know how to cooperate.
