From the vantage point atop the city walls, it seemed the enemy forces were employing a simple formation. This would have been an easy challenge for a Quantinum-ranked Hunter like Aurora to dismantle alone, if they hadn't already discerned the true tactics of the enemy beforehand.
"No movement yet. Their preparations must not be complete, hmm? So — does anyone recognize those mages?"
Five mages, adorned in gold and emerald robes, hovered in the air at the end of Aurora's pointing finger. Both hands held colorful scrolls, while below them, a large magic circle slowly took shape on the ground.
After her inquiry, the magic casters surrounding her shook their heads. Aurora turned her gaze toward Black Moon.
He was usually the most knowledgeable about anything that had to do with magic, and his comprehension of the subject was second to none. If even he did not know of these mages, then the enemy had done a magnificent job of hiding their trump card.
