A Primordial had died without as much as showing any form of resistance. It was shocking, especially for Aeliana.
Yes, Nux did say he was strong enough to take Selvith on, Aeliana, however, never believed it. She just thought Nux underestimated how strong a Primordial actually is.
After all, Nux had never actually faced a Primordial before, even in the Illusion, Aeliana assumed that he wouldn't know any better since he didn't have enough time to actually become strong enough to face a Primordial.
Nux didn't have the Black Hole or this Universe inside of him when he was in the Illusion, so him facing Primordials as Divine Stage Cultivator was out of the question, heck, he didn't even have a Law every time he became a Divine, so he would be even weaker than a regular Divine Stage Cultivator.
