Chapter 400: As People Ascend, Souls Descend

Tian Xin had just rushed into the pool when the roaring waterfall suddenly surged violently, churning up tumultuous currents in the pool and rendering his body completely incapable of stability; he was instantly swept into the chaos.

"What's going on? Why did the current become so fierce all of a sudden? I've only heard that the currents in the pool would be a bit more severe, but it shouldn't be this bad, right? Besides, it seemed like the waterfall's flow just doubled..." As Tian Xin's body was swept to the bottom of the pool, his mind was filled with doubt.

He wanted to stabilize his body, but the first wave of the current was far too strong; he simply couldn't steady himself. His body twisted in all sorts of shapes in the current, and he even collided with a large stone at the bottom of the pool, striking him until he nearly saw stars.
