47. Talk
"Alright now, don't cry. I feel bad when I see you guys crying like this". Alex said as he felt warmth and a pain in his heart when he saw them crying.
"Then promise us no to do something like this again". Hancock said as she looked at Alex seriously.
"No! Not a chance! If something like this happens again, they will have to get over my dead body to touch you guys!" Alex immediately denied as he said with conviction and certainty like making an oath.
This made all of them silent for a while but then they smiled and just hugged tightly. He was enjoying the hug but he was in pain, since he just woke up really weak from a month long coma.
He was skinny but his muscles weren't deteriorated as much as he thought because of the being inside keeping him healed as much as it can.
"Hmm, oh you woke up". Alex looked to the side when he noticed someone hugging his arm while shaking.
"Yosh yosh, no need to be afraid, I am here. No one will hurt you". Alex patted her head as he consoled the frightened girl.
The girl shook her head as she calmed down a little from Alex's heavenly pats on her head but she had no plans of letting go of his arm.
Alex just shook his head as he looked at the deep eye bags on his mothers' faces. They were currently sleeping as they rested their heads around him.
The girls were talking in hushed voices to nit disturb the three. Hancock was clutching his other arm while smiling foolishly.
Hinata was currently looking at Alex with longing eyes as she had a hand on her head when she saw him patting the red skinned girl.
Alex smiled as he motioned her towards him. Hinata found a corner around him as she came near him. Alice was currently clutching his as she slept soundly on him.
"Sorry to worry you Hinata-chan". Alex whispered in her ear as he gave a kiss on her cheek and sent her on a daze to just sit there absentmindedly with fantasies in her head.
Robin and Saeko looked at them with a smile and whispered among each other. Alex just motioned them to come to him as he couldn't really from being hugged all over.
Both of them came to his bedside as they looked at him with a pleasant smile on their faces. Alex patted their heads as the red skinned girl was sleeping while lying next to him. So his hand was free now.
"Thank you for taking care of me". He gave them a warm smile as he thanked them.
"Anything for you". Both of them replied back almost immediately without hesitation. This is the age for Girls to fantasise about their prince charming and who would be better than Alex.
When he powered up and saved them and the whole city from imminent danger. Although, they were forbidden to tell this to anyone by the three mothers.
Not even their parents knew this matter. The girls were surprisingly tight lipped about this who thing. They just didn't want to inconvenience their Alex-kun.
"Let me rest for a bit then we'll talk". Saying that he dozed off again and laid down beside everyone. Surprisingly, Hinata and the other two also slept with him.
Around evening, all of them woke up as they greeted each other with a smile and a peck on the cheek to and from Alex.
"Alex-chan, will you kindly explain what happened that day?" Mamako asked with a smile that didn't give him any room to make excuses or evade this question.
"I don't know everything but when I saw Raikou-ka chan fighting that insect and hearing his words, I felt very powerless that I couldn't protect you guys". Alex with a sad expression when he thought about that feeling.
"B-but then I felt something awakening in me. I got some information on the ability and quickly left Grayfia-ka chan's arms to fight and protect everyone". Alex continued a bit hesitantly at first hut then he showed his resolve with a serious tone.
"I found out that if I use my power with my current body. I will not be able to use it for too long and I also knew that I will pass out after use but I wanted to protect you guys, no matter what". Alex clenched his fists at the end as he finished his words.
"You silly boy". Raikou, Grayfia and Mamako said at the same as they hugged Alex together with wet eyes.
The girls weren't any better but they had a smile on their faces as they felt emotional after they listened to Alex's words.
Children here mature faster than before the apocalypse. Even though they don't know much about relationships or whatnot but they still felt touched by Alex's words.
After that whole fiasco, everyone settled down and decided to go for dinner together. Alex was finally awake but he couldn't stand up from the bed.
The being in him was currently working overtime to bring him back to his peak but it will take a while.
So they decided to just have dinner in his room as that will be the best choice. After dinner, they had some small talk as they played and enjoyed the time together.
Mamako bought another two beds to the room as everyone tacitly decided to just sleep in bis room together.
"Good night guys". Alex cheerfully said as everyone greeted back and went off to sleep.
Alex had some pleasant dreams as he felt himself jumping in a field of flowers and fragrant nature. Some soft jellies along the way that he tried to taste but they just produced noises and didn't actually get eaten for some reason.
He shrugged his shoulders as he stopped eating and went on his journey to see through this dreamland as it was quite a pleasant dream.
