Chapter 5

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Never forget the three ttypes of people in your life: The one who helped you in difficult times, the one who left you in difficult times, and the one who put you in difficult times.
*Kin's POV*
I was no idiot.
Well, most of the time.
I knew someone that had gone through tragedy when I saw one, and she wasn't exactly subtle about it either, seeing as she made no effort to wipe the tear stains on her cheek away.
I carefully eyed the girl as shivers rippled through her body, no doubt from being wet in the harsh cold for quite some time. The futon she was sitting on was drenched, and I made a mental note to dry it properly later. We sat in silence, our surroundings illuminated by the cackling fire that blazed brightly, free from the worry and tragedy of the world.
"M..." I perked up, staring at the Uchiha girl. "My name is Haru."
I gave her a big smile, easing the atmosphere. "That's a nice name."
She really was taught well, not blurting out her full name like an idiot.
But then again, her appearance gave it away, especially taking in the Uchiha crest embroidered proudly on the back of her kimono.
Idiot.
I mulled over my thoughts a bit, then grabbed my bag to pull out a spare blanket, and gently stood to cover Haru with it, the poor girl practically melting into it. I sat back down, tending to the fire, half-heartedly listening to the sound that the firewood made when igniting.
"Hey, Haru." I paused for a few moments, waiting for a response, but not hearing one.
I looked over to see a sleeping Haru, nodding occasionally, as she was leaning on nothing to support her but air. A small chuckle escaped my lips as I looked up towards the starry sky littered with stars and clouds, thinking of a certain raven haired male.
Are you up there too, Itachi? If you are, and you can hear me, then let me tell you.
You've messed up big time.
