For a moment there I was glad I had an overpowered from the start, but turns out the only way I can do this is by gradually becoming the strongest. Not that I have a problem with that though.

I felt something flow within me and for a few seconds, my eyes closed. Shockingly, when I opened them, I knew exactly where I was. This forest wasn't far from the leaf village.

Just then, I heard footsteps approaching me. Instinctively, I reached for the kunai in my pocket and held it out. I've read enough of the manga to know that Konoha isn't a safe place. What makes things even worse is that I don't know the exact era The Dark One sent me to.

I just hope the third Great Ninja War is over.

"Sukuna." I heard a voice call out. I could tell it came from a little girl. I looked up from the bush I was hiding behind to see her- Ino Yamanaka

She was wearing a purple sleeveless top with a mesh underlay and a short black skirt, a pair of black fishnet stockings, and brown sandals. She wore her forehead protector as a headband. Her long blond hair was tied into a high ponytail. As always, she was looking her best. If only she wasn't a 12-year-old.

"I know you're here so come out. Or you could keep hiding and I'll still find you," she added with a little giggle at the end.

I stood up when she had her back turned to me and threw my kunai in her direction.

"Come on." She made a swift turn and caught it before it could touch her hair. "You think I'll fall for that trick twice in one day?"

"What's up?" I asked casually.

"What's up?" she repeated, cocking her head. "Did you hit your head somewhere? We were supposed to meet up with Kakashi sensei fifteen minutes ago."

"Actually, I did," I replied, rubbing the back of my head with my right hand. "I must've forgotten."

"Come on, guys. It's not nice to keep Kakashi sensei waiting." I recognized that shy high-pitched voice perfectly. It was Hinata's. She came out of the tree she was hiding behind. "Hi, Sukuna. I see you've been training very hard.

Hinata was wearing a simple long-sleeved, lavender-blue jacket with white cuffs and a high collar, along with dark blue pants. Her purple hair was short and bobbed, reaching just below her ears with a few loose strands framing her face. She appeared as innocent as ever.

"Hey." I waved to her.

"Let's go already!" Ino said with a commanding tone that was somewhat adorable.

"Alright."
