Me Paul

Princess Vittoria Olympia of the Romana family of Olympus

For the longest time I sat on the chair with the tips of my fingers pressed together like a villain scheming as my lips were pressed into a thin line. My eyebrows were furrowed and I knew I was completely against frowning because it caused wrinkles but for this situation it seemed justified.

I wondered how Campbell got access to pictures of every single public appearance I had made. There was even a photo of me every few days going out to get my morning coffee by the café I loved.

When I went grocery shopping, fashionably filling up my car's tank at the petrol station, from when I took afternoon jogs or any party I had ever attended. The pictures were not just limited to me being in Monaco but from my New York trips, London and wherever else in the world I loved to jet set off too.

Had Campbell been stalking me since we broke up? Because I knew for a fact some of these images could not be found on the internet. What was Campbell doing in Monaco to begin with and why was he coincidentally there to save me from my brother and his guards?

He never liked Monaco from what I remembered, he always felt it was too congested and overpriced. Yet now the man owned an apartment a few minutes away from mine.

I quickly covered my mouth with my hands when an unexpected scream escaped my throat when the door handle of the office turned followed by a knock.

"Princess are you in there?" Campbell's voice resonated through the door.

I wished the ground could have opened up under me and swallowed me whole. I had been so caught up in my own thinking that I had failed to notice the man had come back home. Unlike my apartment there was no balcony for me to climb onto and run off. If I tried to climb out the window here I would fall to my death.

"No," I peeped out then tried to make my voice deeper, "Me Paul, here to fix the computer." Out of all the lies I could come up with that was the best I could do. This was a disgrace, it went against 'My New York Times' bestseller book I once wrote 'How to sell a lie to your Sugar Daddy?'

Well technically Campbell was not my sugar daddy therefore that was what caught me off guard. I cursed myself for getting so lost in my thoughts that I had failed to pay attention to the time or to even send Tricia an email when the opportunity had been in my hands this entire time.

Before I could think of a plan I heard the rustle of something and to my horror Campbell unlocked the door and opened it. He looked completely confused on why I was in his office in the first place but as he stared at me then at the computer a look of realization spread across his face.

I did not even know why I was panicking in the first place when the person in the wrong here was him. He was the one who had been stalking me for years then proceeded to reverse psychology kidnap me and bring me to his penthouse

"What were you doing on my computer?"

"What were you doing stalking me?" I folded my arms over my chest.

"I wasn't-"

"Don't take me for a fool Judas," I folded my arms over my chest as I leaned back in my seat, "Please explain to me Crowned Prince why there are practically twenty folders on your computer with my pictures inside them and don't try to act like you know nothing about them because this has your name written all over it."

His pale skin turned fifty shades of red as he frowned, "I just wanted to save our memories."

"Don't do that," I hissed, "Some of those pictures are from now and we have no memories recently, so where the hell did you get them from?"

"That I can't say," he sighed as he ran his fingers through his choppy surfer hair.

I stood up and pushed the chair back to make room for my body to walk around his desk then passed him on my way out.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"I'm leaving," I glared at him, "I'm not going to stay in a house with a stalker. In fact I was never meant to be here in the first place. I rather hand myself over to my brother and go back to Olympus and deal with the consequences of my actions than stay another minute here sharing the same oxygen as you."

"Let me explain myself," he rushed behind me as I sped down the hallway. "I only saved those pictures because I missed you so much. You haven't been picking up my calls or answering any of my letters."

"There's a little thing called emails now stop wasting paper," I rolled my eyes.

"Vittoria please just hear me out," he begged then reached out to gently hold my hand stopping me in my tracks.

I snatched my hand away from his as if he had burned me and held it close to my chest. "I've been done with you ever since that night in Asgard. No matter what you say or what you do, you will never convince me that you're a good person so you might as well not waste your time. "

"You never even let me explain myself Vittoria," he stressed, "You just grabbed your things and hopped on your jet back to Olympus."

"What was there to explain when I found you cheating on me!" I screamed so loudly if he had neighbours they probably heard, "Get over yourself Campbell! You're not it anymore and I rather be caught dead than standing by your side like your little obedient princess from five years ago. So if you could kindly point me in the direction of where the exit is or give me a phone so I can call my brother, I will appreciate it greatly."
