She Can’t be Tamed

Keira was literally growling as Yun Chen looked up at her. "Don't even think of raising your hand on my friend, otherwise I will send you flying out of the windows here."

Other girls who accompanied Yun Chen came forward to help her as she had stumbled on the floor. They picked her and said, "Yun Chen let us go. There is no point in becoming a spectacle in front of so many people in the mall. This girl out here has no shame but we are cultured people."

They helped her stand up and left giving glares to both of them. Keira said, "Oh yes, don't you interact with us again."

The lunch was over soon and Keira wanted to go back to her apartment as her jetlag was again setting in. They went to her apartment and Feng Xinying prepared to leave. Just then the bell rung. Keira went to open the door and to her surprise saw a huge bouquet of red roses in front of her eyes. She held the bouquet and was even more surprised to see Xie Shenjun over there who was standing with a huge smile on his face.

"Hello Keira," he said waving his hand at her.

Keira licked her lips as she looked at that handsome muscular man standing in front of her. Her sleep had long left her.

"Hi…" she replied.

"This bouquet is a traditional welcome, you see," said Xie Shenjun.

Although Keira was a half Chinese, she had never heard of that kind of welcome. But she didn't say anything.

"Did you like the roses?" he asked expecting her to call him inside.

"Yes, thank you," she answered.

Xie Shenjun placed his one hand on the door and another in his pants and inched towards her. He was getting enticed by her cuteness. Her curly hair had come over her face and he reached for them to tuck them behind her. All of a sudden he felt a sharp pain in his abdomen. She had hit him over there so badly with her karate hand that Xie Shenjun winced and bent down. Keira threw the red roses at him and closed the door on his face. "Don't touch me!" she said with contempt.

She turned to look at Feng Xinying and was about to say something, when the door bell rung again. Irritated she opened it and saw a pained Xie Shenjun. He was seething in anger.

"Do you know how many women die to be my girlfriend? They all line up just so that I spend two minutes with them and just because I came to give you the bouquet of roses because you are my sister-in-law's friend, you will misbehave with me?" he blurted at her.

"So?" Keira narrowed her eyes. "That doesn't give you the right to assume that I will be your girlfriend. You've welcomed me, now you can go," she said.

He looked at her blankly not able to answer. She asked him to go? Go?

Then she picked the bouquet of red roses and handed it to him forcefully. "Give one rose to each of those poor souls from my side!" And she closed the door again.

Xie Shenjun was dumbfounded. All the anger and the pain that he was feeling suddenly became sharper. All that was left was an intense feeling of stupidity and rejection. How could a girl be so brave that she would reject a man like him? He was dreaming about it since yesterday. He looked at the red roses and smacked them on his head.

He had been with so many high-class girls but none attracted his attention as much as she did. He had to make sure that she didn't leave the country. He called his men and deployed two of them to always stay on her guard from then on.

Inside the apartment, Keira turned to look at Feng Xinying who was laughing away to glory. "Sister-in-law?" she asked shocked.

Feng Xinying nodded and said, "Yes, I am married to Xie Yuansheng now and Xie Shenjun is his brother."

Before Keira could ask anything else, Feng Xinying said, "Later dear," and headed out where she met Xie Shenjun and again broke into laughter. She said, "Thanks for getting Keira safely from the airport. But forget about her. She can't be tamed," and left for home.

Xie Shenjun became all the more excited about Keira. He would love to tame her. He thought of ringing the bell again but stopped himself. Gradually… he thought he had to convince her… He decided to come again the next day. He left with a grin, stroking his lips gently.
