I'll Marry Shen Yu Han

"What? Sister Yun Xi ran away?" Feng Xi got down from the bed after the house servant informed her. "That cannot happen. Why would my sister do it? Don't joke with me in the morning." Feng Xi couldn't believe the words of the house servant, thinking she must be joking with her. 

Lu Yun Xi would say to her family that she would run away from the marriage, but Feng Xi knew that her elder sister was never serious about that. 

"I am not lying. Miss Yun Xi ran away in the early morning. You should go downstairs," the house servant said with a serious tone. 

Feng Xi hadn't even tidied herself after waking up when this sudden news of her sudden running away broke out. Without any further ado, Feng Xi ran downstairs. 

She heard her father, Lu Guangting, shouting at the security and the others. Her mother was on the couch, crying profusely. 

"Mom, Dad, what happened? Why did Sister do this?" Feng Xi asked and went to her mother. Mrs. Lu hugged her younger daughter and continued weeping. 

"Mom, calm down. Perhaps Sister Yun Xi wants some air. These days, it's common to be nervous on your wedding day," Feng Xi stated while still hoping that her elder sister hadn't run away. 

"We found a note. She has run away," said Lu Guangting, and held his head. There was no use of screaming now. He couldn't even file a police complaint because the matter might go to the media and everything would ruin that way. 

Feng Xi furrowed her brows and looked at the phone on the sofa table. It was of her mother. She quickly called her sister, but the phone was switched off. 

Suddenly, her father's phone rang, grabbing everyone's attention. 

"It's Shen Yu Han," Lu Guangting told them, and he gulped in fear. His hands were trembling in fear, as he wondered how to answer that call. 

"Dad, why ain't you picking up? You should tell him," Feng Xi asserted. 

"Shen Yu Han will destroy our family if he finds out Yun Xi ran away," Lu Guangting said with a worried tone. With that, the call was cut. 

"But we need to tell him. We can't hide it for long. The marriage was supposed to be registered in a few hours," Feng Xi said and asked them if they tried to find out through Yun Xi's friends about her.

"She is not with her friends either. I never expected Yun Xi would do this to us," Mrs. Lu said as she wiped her tears. 

Feng Xi saw the note her sister left placed on the table. She picked it up and read it thoroughly. 

"Yu Han is physically disabled; that's the reason Sister Yun Xi ran away," Feng Xi murmured. "Dad, why did you even agree to this marriage? You knew that Sister Yun Xi hardly showed any interest in that man," she proclaimed. 

"Because I promised Yu Han's grandfather that my eldest daughter would marry his grandson. You don't know how much favor the Shen Family has bestowed upon us," Lu Guangting said and sighed. 

"Elder Shen has saved me from dying when everyone turned a blind eye to us. Your father had a huge debt at that time, and they saved us. Yun Xi never once rebelled against this marriage," Mrs. Lu explained and pressed her fingers on her forehead. 

"But Sister Yun Xi used to say that she didn't want to marry Yu Han. I know we all thought she was not serious," Feng Xi muttered. 

Feng Xi had been away from home for her studies and returned two days ago to attend her sister's marriage. Who knew the day would turn gloomy for them?

Lu Guangting's phone rang again, and it was Shen Yu Han. Gathering his courage, he answered the call and delivered the news to him. Both Guangting and his wife were terrified, wondering what would happen next. 

"Yes. I'll do that," Lu Guangting said, and the call disconnected from the other side. 

"What happened, Dear?" Mrs. Lu asked her husband in concern. 

"Shen Yu Han looked calm. He wasn't furious about it. However, he asked me to bring my younger daughter to the Civil Affairs Bureau," Lu Guangting asserted and gazed at Feng Xi. 

"Why?" Feng Xi asked as her brows knitted together. She didn't want her father to say the same thing, which was just in her mind. 

"Shen Yu Han said the marriage would happen today. If not with Yun Xi, then with my younger daughter," Lu Guangting pronounced. 

Feng Xi rose promptly to her feet. "I-I can't marry him, Dad. I don't even know him. Also, Yun Xi might return. We should wait," she argued. 

Before Lu Guangting could speak, his phone rang once more. Immediately he answered it, and Shen Yu Han, in his cold voice, spoke from the other side, "I will bring you to the streets if your second daughter also runs away. My secretary is on his way to fetch you all. Because my late Grandpa asked me to fulfill this wish of his, that's why I need to marry the daughter of your family only. This is your only chance to rectify your mistake." 

"What did he say?" Mrs. Lu asked. 

"Feng Xi has to marry Shen Yu Han at any cost, or else he would bring us on the streets. It's my only chance to rectify the mistake Yun Xi made," Lu Guangting briefly explained to them. 

"I cannot marry him. I've got a boyfriend, Dad," Feng Xi said as tears welled up in her eyes. 

"He won't listen to me, Feng Xi. Do you wish all of us to come on the streets? What your sister did can never be forgiven. But you can save us from this shame," Lu Guangting said and joined his both hands in front of his daughter. 

Lowering his head, he requested, "I beg you, Feng Xi. Please marry Shen Yu Han today and save us from his wrath."

Mrs. Lu asked the same from her daughter, and both the parents requested her. 

Feng Xi couldn't see them urging her this way. They both looked helpless, and Feng Xi could never bear it. 

"Fine. I'll marry Shen Yu Han," Feng Xi announced, a tear streaming down her cheek.

Lu Feng Xi: I was forced to marry you.

Shen Yu Han: Humph! Go back to your boyfriend, I don't need you.

After a few seconds,

Shen Yu Han: Where are you going?

Lu Feng Xi: To my boyfriend.

Shen Yu Han instantly kneeled, begging her to forgive him with doe and puppy eyes.
