He bent low to his heels and pulled out a thick rope. It was long enough to get them across, but it was a very deadly move.

He had sighted a root stump on the other side and could only hope he got the projections right. Without further ado, he circled the rope heavily in the air and swung it towards the root stump.

It was such a spectacular move because the rope twirled around the root, firmly.

The heavens were surely helping them.

He then found another root stump on their side and securely tied the end of the rope to it.

"come, quick, get on my back..." He repeated to the 'Man' who appeared like he would do anything to get out of this unknown part of the forest.

"do not place your hands on my chest. Remember, I saved you, and I can kill you right now" his voice sounded cruel at this moment that the 'Man' climbed on his back and placed his hands on his chest clumsily

"where else would i place my hands? we are both men, is there a need for this threat? tsk tsk... so petty" the 'Man' protested feebly

Su then proceeded to give him a short lesson on where and how he would position his hands as they slid down the rope.

"place your hands under my armpits and let them turn up to grab my shoulders. Why would you place your hands on my chest like a pervert?" he shouted to him

"you would let me pass my arms through your armpits but would kill me if I placed them on your chests?, tsk tsk tsk... what sort of logic is this?"

"a sensible one"

"and did you just call me a pervert?!" The 'Man's brain definitely just registered the word

"you wanted to act like one!"

"huh huh, mind your speech, else I would not let you go after we get out of this forest"

"let us get out of here first"

Then they got on the rope and started to slide across the waters and rocks.

They reached the other side safely in minutes.

"pheeeww" a deadly arrow flew past their ears swiftly as they were about to alight. The enemies were in sight.

"quick, get off!"

Su hurriedly pulled out a short dagger from his sleeves and cut off the rope from his end when he saw that the assassins had started to climb on the rope.

The rope broke and the assassins that had mounted slid down into the rocks and water below.

There was no connection to them now unless they went downhill to get them.

Satisfied, Su turned to the 'Man', "Let's keep moving..."
