Waking up

She opened her eyes slowly. Seeing the light of the sun blinding her. She covered her eyes from the sun reflexively.

Her clothes were all wet, she was lying down on a bed of water. But weirdly, she realized she wasn't touching the ground under the water.

So she sat down as water dropped off her wet clothes.

She couldn't remember anything. She didn't know who she is. She didn't what she was. She didn't know what happened before sleeping on that water bed.

Around her were trees, lots of them. She was in the middle of a forest. The water bed wasn't so big. It was as wide as her body, just a few inches wider. And it wasn't so deep either, just one and a quarter inches deep.

Despite that, when she sat down, she couldn't feel the ground below the water. It was as if she was floating on top of it.

She looked down her wet clothes. She was wearing some sort of cloth sewn together to just fit her. It wasn't high quality, just some dirty old cloth. On top of the cloth layer, some sort of vest made out of soft fur.

She weren't wearing any pants, the cloth was long enough that it covered her body until just under the knee.

Curious, she lift the long cloth just to see. She did wear some sort of under layer, just in case.

Beside her was a piece of paper, a bag of rocks, and a sword broken into two pieces. She picked up the paper and looked at it. Somehow she was able to read the words from the paper.

Written on the paper were two sentences.

"Welcome to the world. Look around to your heart's content."

"What am I suppose to do with this information?" She said.

"Well then... Lets do some- "

"I can speak?!!"

She was shocked.

You'd be freaked out if you were just born and you suddenly start speaking wouldn't you? Me too.

"Well~~ alright then... I'll just get going."

She stood up, took the bag of stones and walked into the deep forest.

Unknown to her, when the paper fell into the water, the words changed.

It said "Welcome to the world. Look around to your heart's content.". but a sentence written in white was revealed.

"Let your life begin."
