Lucky Men gang

For some seconds after Margie left, Susan ruminated over her advice and statements. She recalled several times she has gotten warnings about Prisca but ignored it.

Susan seems to be blind to the awful sides of Prisca that others see. Literally, she acts like she is under her spell such that she tolerates all her suspicious attitudes in the name of friendship.

Molly and Late. Robin never respected their friendship due to Prisca's alarming jealousy about them. Unfortunately, Susan is extremely insensitive to that. As usual she paid deaf ears to Margie's warning and took it as an outcome of misconceived perceptions towards Prisca. When she looked up, she noticed Prisca is busy with her phone.

"The coffee please" Susan requested as she keeps her gaze on Prisca's bangle

"Oh" Prisca acclaimed and handed over the coffee to her

"Nice bangle" Susan complimented

"Thanks" she replied with a forced smile as she shifted the phone over to her left hand and raised her right wrist to throw a glance at the bangle. "Uhmm, I will have to run along because of work" she added as she quickly turned to leave. "Hope you called Eric to inform him of this?"

"Yes, I already called him and some other staff that I won't be coming for work. Eric personally asked me to stay for three days" Susan replied and noticed the change in Prisca's mood and stopped her.

"Cool" Prisca replied almost soundlessly

"Hey" Susan called calmly as she stood up hastily and followed her.

"I apologize for Margie's attitudes, please forgive her. Her utterances are simply youthful excesses we have to overlook" Susan pleaded as Prisca collected her handbag on the sofa and stood still to listen to Susan

"It's ok, I understand" Prisca accepted still trying to smile as Susan nodded in agreement "I will have to go now" she added as she took few steps close to Susan and held her left elbow

"Do take good care of yourself dear" she concluded as Susan opened her arms wide enough and hugged her.

"I will" Susan said as they still held each other's shoulder.

Margie went home to realize the house is lonely and got worried.

"Baby?" she called out as she came out of the bedroom wondering where he is. After a while of searching, Margie opened her purse which she kept on the dining table and dialed his number.

"Hey, where are you?" she asked curiously as soon as she heard Charles's voice

"I'm at work" He replied

"Oh" she said as she rested on the dining table "I'm sorry I kept you waiting" she apologized

"Don't be dear" He accepted her apology "How did it go?" he inquired immediately.

"Nothing much" Margie replied with a rumpled face "I told her the truth she needs to know about her actions and she seems undisturbed. While, Prisca got her own share too" she explained "I think I can explain better when we are together" she concluded

"Ok, are you still feeling feverish?" He inquired because Margie complained of having fever early in the morning.

"No, I'm feeling better now. I have to go and see Molly to know how she is doing and also find out her plan" she concluded

"Ok, that's cool, we will talk later then. Take care" Charles replied

"Yeah, you too, I love you" she said and hung up the call.

Few minutes after Charles settled into the office, Tom came in

"Hey, man" Tom greeted immediately he stepped into the office

"Hey, good morning" Charles replied as he quickly dropped his phone on his table to welcome Tom's handshake.

"How is Dorcas and Shirley this morning?" Charles asked smiling

"My little angel is cute and My beautiful wife is fine and cute too" Tom replied as they laughed out loud.

Tom never ceases to chant Dorcas's good qualities wherever he goes. Actually, Tom and Charles had formed the Lucky Hubby Gang at Buzz soft vicinity. Tom and Charles's litany of praise for their wives can make one get jealous and indulge in comparing his spouse to theirs.

Amazingly, they not only share their peaceful moments with their wives but also tables the awful and dramatic times as well. Nevertheless, they will always admit to how lucky they are to have their wives.

Tom and Charles became good friends ever since Charles started working at Buzz soft and admitted he is a lucky man pertaining to his marital partner. Their friendship got tighter over the years and rapidly extended to their wives. Most married men in the institution will always leave them angrily whenever they start their Lucky Men anthem.

To Tom and Charles, it means nothing but a way to appreciate how privileged they are to be with their wives.

"And Mag?" Tom quickly asked as he pulled up his trouser although fastened with belt.

"She is fine" Charles replied as stretched out his left hand and pulled out a file from his shelf

"How is her friend coping with the arrest?" Tom asked as he placed his hands on Charles's table giving him a bent posture.

"Who told you that?" Charles quickly asked in reply as he turned to hand over the file to Tom.

"Don't give me that look, the news is everywhere. At least I have a television" Tom quarried as he stood erect and redressed his collar.

"Fine, she is in police custody. Poor Molly" Charles replied frowning his face and pause for a while to lean back on his seat.

"Susan went too far" Tom lamented and slotted his hands into his pockets in sadness.

"It baffles me how some people can be so hard heartened." Charles said as he sat up, placing his arms on his table.

"Initially, Molly and Robin are wrong for keeping the cloning trial away from Susan, but Susan should have treated this as a family issue, listened to Molly's reasons and know the way forward" he added as Tom keeps nodding in affirmation to what he is saying

"You know I was at their residence with Margie on the night of the incidence" he continued

"Really" Tom asserted as he speedily pulled out his hands from his pocket and sat down on Charles's client seat to get the full story.

"Yeah, she promised them that she will deal with them with everything in her" Charles mentioned as Tom listened keenly

"Wow, that sounds severe" Tom replied with surprise as Charles continued immediately

"At first, I thought she didn't mean it although Molly and Douglas confirmed it, I still doubted them until this morning's news headline emerged" he narrated

"She also went ahead to hire VV" Tom added smiling playfully

"VV? What's that?" Charles asked interestedly
