HOLD ON TO ME

Lois's POV

Day 3

It had been a wonderful time here so far. The trip to Jeju island was so fun filled. I kept wondering how my cheek bones weren't aching, as I was practically smiling the whole day.

I and Oliver caught up on a few stuffs that went on while I was away at London. I tried to get him talk about his break up with Eva, but I realized it was quite a touchy subject, cuz whenever I went that line, he would quickly changed to a different subject.

Yesterday, we went skating! Twas really fun as I didn't know how to skate and Oliver had to teach me. I remember falling several times and had Oliver laughing out his lungs. The last time I fell he asked me to hold on to him.

I scoffed but complied because he was suprisingly looking too serious, and that was the moment I enjoyed it more, because Oliver kept going at a fast pace, which got me screaming so loud. He kept teasing me as we went on.

So we are supposed to attend a music performance by BTS singing group tonight and I'm so excited because BTS is one of my favorite Korean boy band . But I just couldn't help but think about something I noticed yesterday.

We got back from skating late in the evening and went to the hotel restaurant to eat. While eating someone walked passed our table, and then walked across for a second time, and then the third.

That was the moment I realized something was off about this person. The person's face was completely covered with the hood of his or her cloth, because I couldn't really tell if it was a man or woman.

I could see strands of blonde hair from underneath the hood. I decided to shrug it off as the restaurant was really crowded. I looked over at Oliver who was calmly swiping over his tablet.

Just then I looked through the see through glass doors of the restaurant, as a hooded figure walked into a sleek black sedan and drove off. I was certain it was the same person a few minutes ago.

I didn't know why but I felt very uneasy. I and Oliver finished eating, quickly paid and walked back to our room. Oliver was very oblivious to what I noticed.

I just decided to shrug it off and look forward to the anticipated fun of today.

So I'm presently touching up my face for the show tonight, while Oliver is already fully dressed and sitting on the bed waiting for me, as he looked through his phone.

He looked really eidible tonight. He always did though, but the casual jeans and Denim jacket he wore tonight made him look bad ass. And his hair came falling down his face, looking slightly wet, showing he just came out of shower.

"Are you done ogling?" came Oliver's voice

"I wasn't ogling" I denied

"Okay. Are you done?"

"Almost" I replied. I couldn't help but internally frown at the way he just agreed to my denial. Oliver would have teased me more on a normal day. And he sounded quite uninterested, and I didn't know why I felt bad.

"Alright then. Hurry up please" Oliver replied coldly.

"Are you okay?"

"Me?" I nodded. "Yeah sure, why not"

I quickly applied mascara to my lashes, a nude colored lipstick, and a tint of blush to my pale looking cheek.

"I'm done" I announced

"Fine. Let's go" he replied and quickly walked out of the room, ahead of me. Very unusual. Something was definitely off.

The ride to the was very quiet.

I slipped in my earphones and played a track of my favorite singer.

I listened to the first song on the track, Helplessly by Tatiana Manaois and slowly my mind faded with the wonderful rythym of the song, and I could feel my lips twitching into a smile for no reasons at all. That's what Tatiana's songs do to me.

"We are here. Get down" Oliver ordered as he got down from the car.

"Rude much" I replied, expecting an apology, but got none. I quickly alighted. Why was he suddenly behaving like an ass?

We walked into the very gigantic building. As we got to the reception, an usher gestured towards the right, for us to walk through. We got into the elevator and immediately we walked out, I just started feeling like we were being followed.

It got worse when we were close to the wide doors of the auditorium, as another Usher opened it and showed us in. The whole place was already booming loud with music and I felt elated as I walked faster into the crowds with Oliver following behind, as we looked for a perfect spot to sit.

Roughly two hours later another invited boy band came to present the choreography of their song 'Hardcarry'. It was really fun and there were lots of cheering everywhere.

Suddenly, Oliver covered my hands with his. What was this supposed to mean? You ignore me and act rudely hours before and now you are holding my hands. I quickly looked up at him. The place was quite dark, but I could still make out his face.

He looked at me and I could see his eyes looked very anxious, like he was being careful of something. I tried pulling out my hand, but he held on more firmly and sent me a warning look. What was all this? I tried pulling my hand again.

"Don't!!" He warned now. On a normal day, I would have ignored him and just pulled out my hand. But today was different, he sounded quite serious and cautious and scared, if I might add.

"Hold on to me" I looked deeper into his eyes. This was the second time he was saying that to me within two days. Something was definitely off.

"What?"

"I said hold on to me. For once don't be stubborn Lois"

"What is al..."

"Stand up!" He quickly caught me off. I quickly did as instructed. At this point, I was completely confused.

"Once we get out of the place, hold on to me Lois." He warned again.

I didn't have time to reply before he pulled me off my seat and we walked out through the crowd towards the doors of the auditorium. Once we got out and walked towards the elevator, he quickly pushed me in and pressed the last floor button.

I noticed Oliver pressing the button of the white Bluetooth on his right ear. What was that doing on his ear by the way. Something was totally off here, I thought for the hundredth time that night.

Once we got out of the elevator, he quickly ran out of the building pulling me along. We were about going towards the parking lot, when I spotted a very familiar black sedan coming with full speed towards us.

It all happened in slow motion as I saw a hand with a pistle from the window of the black sedan. Were we about to be shot at? Was this my end? My mind was in a haze as I heard a shot and a thud. The only thing I realized was that I was on the floor with Oliver on top of me.

"Now!!!" I heard Oliver screamed. My mind was in total chaos as I felt strong hands wrapped around my waist and I was carried bridal style by whoever it was. I couldn't move, couldn't put up a fight, as I felt tears fall freely from my eyes.

The only word my mouth could weakly form was "Oliver".

I felt myself being separated from him. He didn't call my name, he didn't fight for me. He just let them take me away as everything else faded and I fell into the awaiting darkness.
