Duke Grant

"We'll hit them hard and fast, and before they can figure out what is going on, we'll already be finished. Is that clear?"

The members of the council all gained surprised looks on their faces as they heard Mark's plan. Not taking the stronghold was not a bad plan at all. But the only issue with that plan was that it would allow the Angels to take over the stronghold again and rebuild their forces once the demons were gone.

But was that really a bad thing?

If they raze a stronghold to the ground, burn its walls down, and kill the soldiers protecting it, it would take at least a week for the Angels to rebuild. That meant they would be able to attack them again and again at the different strongholds without expecting any form of retaliation from the previous stronghold that they had just destroyed for at least another week.
