The door had been opened at some point, and Leo Harrell just leaned against the wall, watching Sophia Cloud by Arthur's bedside, from seeing her fall asleep to succumbing to sleep herself, lying down to rest.
The moonlight spilled halfway into the room, covering everything with its starry speckle.
Bedroom
Evelyn Smith's eyes were swollen from crying, and her body trembled even more violently when she saw Leo Harrell return.
"What's wrong?" Leo Harrell's brows raised slightly, but this time he didn't step forward to comfort her.
"Leo, did you, did you go see your sister?" Evelyn's voice trembled, and she seemed covered with an inexplicable fear, which made Leo quite uncomfortable to see.
"I went to see Arthur."
The room fell into silence.
