Chapter 25: Samarth's clash

"I am now ready, my boy! Attack me with all you've got!" Samarth shouted, his voice echoing with newfound confidence and power.

Samarth and Garudax vs. Sicotes—who will win? If anybody had to guess, they would say Garudax and Sicotes would win, of course. A dragon is powerful, but... really?

There were only sparks visible on the battlefield where Garudax and Samarth, combined, were fighting against Sicotes. Suddenly, they stopped. Everyone was breathing heavily. Samarth felt something warm on the back of his head; he touched it, only to find that the area was covered in blood.

"This is hell," Samarth said. "We are two, and he is one. Even with our full power, why is he stronger than us?" Samarth asked Garudax.

"I am a dragon and strong too, but as a familiar, my powers are limited. Although he can't use it, half of my power is being shared with Arthur right now," Garudax said, also breathing heavily.
