"She can go to the Baratie but I'm coming along with you all," Sanji said, before defensively explaining himself. "This isn't because I joined the crew though. I'm just here to represent the Baratie. I'll wait somewhere while you all approach and will be negotiating for myself the release of the Baratie and the cooks. Zeff will keep the little gem in check."
"Fine - but I don't like this. And I'm taking my revolver with me." Medaka grumbled but decided to let it go. She vowed to herself that she would double her training with Zoro so that next time she would be with the crew whether they wanted her to be or not. She stomped over to where the leftover paint was and began aggressively painting the parlay flag.
"If you're going to be here why don't you take a look at my galley and let me know if anything should be altered." Dawn suggested and before Sanji could argue she added on. "It's under the forecastle."
So while the Straw Hat crew were preparing to depart Sanji made his way over to Dawn's galley in order to give it a thorough inspection. If the galley wasn't up to his standards it would just be another reason to refuse to join the crew.
Sanji unexpectedly found Dawn's galley to be very nice, but smaller than what he was used to after working on a cruise ship and then on the Baratie for so many years. There was an oven with a range on top of it along with a deep sink on one side and many shelves filled with pans, pots and cooking utensils opposite to the sink. There was a countertop next to the stove and range where food could be prepared. There was a hatch in the floor to the side of the counter with a ladder that led down to the dry larder and storage. On the far side of the sink, away from the oven, was the refrigerator and a shelf covered in potted plants with fresh herbs growing inside. Everything necessary plus a few nice perks for a functioning floating kitchen was there.
Sanji looked around and began to talk out loud as he looked around. "There should be a set up like the Baratie to cut out too much waste. Bones could be roasted, made into stock, or boiled down to concentrate the flavor to make bullion. Any leftover vegetables and herbs could be mixed into ground meat or used in sauces..."
"So then Sanji, are you considering staying with us?" Dawn asked, unintentionally startling him out of his thoughts.
"No. I'll make a list of things to look for in a proper cook though." Sanji refused automatically. "I'm only here to parlay on behalf of the Baratie."
Sanji purposefully marched himself out from the galley to join up with Nami and Zoro up on the forecastle. It would be better for him to hear how things between the two pirate crews went first anyway, instead of waiting for his own chance to parley down in the galley as he had been planning.
As soon as the parlay flag was switched out with the regular one and Medaka had been sent to the Baratie with her revolver, Dawn began her approach towards the Crimson Moon. Luffy was comfortably perched up on the top of her figurehead, watching the activity on the other ship as they got closer. Ann and Balloon were up in the crow's nest together while Zoro and Sanji waited with various levels of tension up on the forecastle deck just behind Luffy. Nami was back on the poop deck 'manning' the helm in order to at least keep up the appearance that someone was directing Dawn's movements. The birds aside from Balloon had been secured down in the cargo hold until after their parlay could be completed.
Finally, they slowed down to a halt a few meters away from the other ship. The Crimson Moon was five times as big as Dawn but had none of her charms. Its ropes creaked and its hull groaned and Dawn had the sneaking suspicion that its bilge was probably stuffed with drowned rats from the smell it was giving off.
They were close enough to each other that someone could hit each other's ships if someone spit but no one on the red sailed ship moved to address anyone aboard Dawn.
Finally, a man moved the front of the forecastle of the other ship to be seen by the Straw Hat crew but didn't bother with beginning to speak to them. Instead, he stared down at everyone on Dawn with a haughty sneer and waited.
The man had two-toned black and orange hair and had a shiny waxed beard and mustache that had both been formed into curved points that made his face look like a caricature of a sinister grinning crescent moon. His clothing was purple with yellow edging and accouterments and his cuffs and hat had his pirate emblem stitched into them.
There was some movement on the forecastle deck of the ship and soon enough there was someone who had pushed through the crew and moved to stand at his right. It was none other than Pin Joker, as the message had insinuated it would be. He seemed to have an expression on his face that couldn't decide between being viciously gleeful or unspeakably terrified. He was scanning everyone on Dawn with searching eyes and when he spotted the Zoro standing on Dawn's deck and the blank expression he had on his face it was he who broke up the building standoff between both sides.
"He's still here! That's him - Roronoa Zoro! I can't believe he hasn't left yet!"
"Good. This means we can take care of everything at once without having to hunt him down as well." The orange and black-haired man replied in a low growing voice.
"You hear that Roronoa Zoro! Our meeting here today will end with your breath!" Pin Joker shook his (unamputated) fist in Zoro's direction.
Zoro blinked once very slowly and in a deadpan voice said. "Who is that guy? I've never seen him before."
Pin Joker's jaw dropped in disbelief. Had Zoro seriously already forgotten him? It had been less than a week since their last encounter. Rather than reacting in anger like their last encounter, he instead seemed to manifest a gloomy cloud of depression overhead.
"Oh? I'm taking this to mean you aren't delivering the ten heads of the cooks to me as I requested in my message. Then in addition to those heads of the cooks who fought Pin's crew, I will also need to have the dismembered limbs of Roronoa Zoro to be given to me as well, since he happens to be present." Galley said in an uncaring tone. So this was the kind of person Galley was. Apparently, negotiation would not be happening.
"You want my limbs? Come and try to take them." Zoro said with a feral grin as he drew his undamaged nameless sword from its scabbard in a single smooth motion.
In a very mockingly placating tone Galley tsked and said, "Now, now - don't misunderstand me. I don't want to take them, I said I wanted them to be given to me. Either the heads of the people who wounded my friend's crew and your limbs will be delivered to me by sunset tonight or I will have my fleet bombard that restaurant and every ship surrounding it and send all of you to hell anyway. You're all outnumbered and outgunned so the only hope for the majority of you to escape with your lives is simply to kill off a few of yourselves for me."
Galley seemed cocksure and satisfied in the ensuing silence following his proclamation. He had only permitted the other ship to approach with parlay in order to see these pirates fall to despair and obey his words. There was no one, not even another pirate now, who would oppose his words now that Krieg was gone.
"The guy with the weird beard sure is stupid," Luffy said as he scratched an itchy spot on the inside of his nose, drawing everyone's attention over to him. "What kind of pirate wants to just be given something? It's a lot more fun to do things yourself and take what you want yourself."
Galley's attention completely zeroed in on Luffy, still perched up on the figurehead of Dawn, and with rage building up in his eyes he hissed. "You must not understand how serious this is. If those cooks and Roronoa Zoro are not killed by everyone here then I'm going to kill all of you myself."
"I wouldn't even let you kill one of the pets on my crew. If you tried I would stop you myself." Luffy said as he casually flicked a dislodged booger into the sea between Dawn and Galley's own ship.
Galley looked as though he was about to figuratively explode before he took a long, deep breath and said. "Please don't insult my intelligence. I know you're just trying to bait me into attacking you myself and it's not going to work."
Luffy stuck his tongue out at Galley and said, "There are plenty of things I can say to you before I call you stupid again. Like your weird beard. I think it looks like the beard of a goat and the beard of a catfish had an ugly baby beard and then it climbed on your face and died on your chin."
Sanji's cigarette dropped down to the deck as his jaw dropped over Luffy's apparent lack of survival instinct. What was Luffy thinking!?
Galley was now trembling with the attempt to repress his fury and he hissed, "Do you have any idea who I am, you fool? I am 'Crescent Moon' Chandra Galley! I have a fleet of seven ships with five hundred subordinates! Who are you to insult me directly to my face?"
"I'm Monkey D Luffy and I'm gonna be King of the Pirates. I've never even heard of you before." Luffy said loudly and proudly, stunning the other crew (and Sanji) once again.
"The 'D' stands for Dashing," Dawn added on cheekily, resulting in Ann stomping her foot up in the crow's nest in an attempt to fruitlessly try to hush her up.
Galley wasn't shaking in fury any more - in fact he began to heartily laugh. "Gah-hahaha! You? You're going to be the Pirate King? Only a stupid dreamer would go for that! Are you going to the Grand Line too?"
"Of course. That's where the One Piece is." Luffy said confidently.
There was more laughter from Galley. "Gah-hahaha! You're an even bigger idiot than that moron Krieg was! It's more reliable and realistic to stay here in East Blue when you're a pirate. You're more likely to survive as well. I think you and people like you are idiots of the highest order!"
"I don't care about what you think. I'll be the King of the Pirates anyway. It's my dream after all." Luffy said confidently.
"What are you even saying, you idiot pirate!?" Sanji finally cut in, shouting at Luffy and drawing Galley's attention onto him as well. "Are you being serious right now?"
Luffy smiled over to Sanji and proudly said, "Of course I am. My dream is huge but I know it will happen. I'm going to gather a crew, find the greatest treasures, have the greatest adventures and I'm gonna be the King of the Pirates!"
Galley interrupted the moment with another mocking laugh. "Gah-hahaha! You'll soon see how weak a dream like that actually is! You - the blond man there. You sailed out here with these fools but you're obviously one of the cooks from that floating restaurant, aren't you? The one with curly eyebrows that kicks, I presume. I'm going to make you a very generous offer. I'll spare everyone at that restaurant and the cooks who fought my friend's crew there if you tell me what your dream is - and then renounce it entirely. Prove it to this idiot pirate that dreams don't really matter in this life. Only reality and survival."
Sanji grit his teeth together and seriously considered the offer. He could finally prove to Zeff here and now that Sanji's vow to repay him was genuine and get those persistent pirates out of his life at the same time.
"My dream is to find the All Blue..." Sanji said in a clear voice loud enough for both ships to hear before he suddenly struggled to complete the vow to renounce his dream. Why was this so difficult? Zeff's ambition and life were hanging in the balance.
"All Blue? What's that supposed to be? Some kind of treasure?" Galley questioned, already making assumptions about what Sanji meant.
"The All Blue is a sea where every fish in the ocean swims in a single place. It's a seafaring chef's dream and I'm sure it exists somewhere in this world." Sanji said before continuing with pained determination. "I am now renouncing it. If you spare the Baratie and all the chefs here I vow I'll never go searching for the All Blue."
Sanji sidestepped when the report of a pistol sounded and a bullet hole hit the deck right where he had just been standing. There was a simultaneous crackling of thunder ahead and it began to rain. Galley looked absolutely furious as he glared at Sanji while he held a still smoking pistol in his hand.
Over the sound of thunder Galley raged at Sanji. "You're renouncing a stupid little fairy tale!? Do you think I'm playing some kind of game here? You should have a dream like wanting to be the head chef here or something like that! A dream as stupid as a fairy tale is the easiest thing in the world to renounce! Your dream is just as stupid as that Monkey's is!"
("Hey Luffy." Dawn spoke softly to her Captain once the shot was fired.
"Dawn." Luffy acknowledged through his clenched teeth as he listened to Galley make a mockery of Sanji.
"That Galley fellow shot a hole in my deck. That means he attacked us first.")
Sanji's heart felt simultaneously heavy with shame and hot with anger when Galley began to mock his dream. How could he help Zeff and the other chefs if his dream wasn't being taken seriously?
"Shut up." Luffy said, stopping Galley from speaking further, in a voice more serious than Sanji had ever heard in the entire time he had been around Luffy. A ripple of lightning between the clouds seemed to highlight the fury in his expression. "Don't you dare call the dream of my Nakama stupid - and after trying to force him to give up his dream? I really hate people like you."
"Don't even think about trying to fight me, Monkey. For I have a terrible power cursed directly by the sea itself, not to mention the fact that one little ship versus my fleet of thirty will lose one hundred times out of a hundred, you idiot."
"Who cares? You're a jerk!" Luffy said and reached his arm back in order to prepare for his attack against Galley. "How dare you make fun of Sanji's dream! Rubber Pistol!"
Galley's eyes nearly bulged out of his head in surprise when Luffy's arm stretched out all the way between the gaps of their ships before it struck him across his face with a satisfying crack. Galley stumbled back a little and lifted his hand to stem the flow of blood that was now streaming from his nose.
"What the hell was that!? How did your arm stretch like that!?" Galley shouted in a mixture of anger and fear.
"Don't wanna tell you - you jerk!" Luffy shouted stubbornly and reared his fist back to launch another punch.
"If you hit me again I'll order my fleet to retaliate against you and your crew - you disrespectful brat!" Galley threatened. Luffy swung his fist forward without a millisecond of hesitation.
In a panic over seeing this Galley shouted "Send Me Up There!" and slapped his hand onto his hat before suddenly vanishing from sight just before Luffy could land another punch into his face.
"Hey! Where'd that Jerk Beard go?" Luffy shouted as his arm snapped back to his side with a twang like a rubber band.
A split second later Galley appeared up in the crow's nest of his ship and with an enraged voice he shouted down "I'll kill you all! I ate the Devil Fruit of the Sea and now I'm the fastest pirate in the East Blue! The only way you're getting out of this alive would be to sink my entire fleet!"
"Oh really? Thanks - I guess we'll do that then." Luffy said with a grin that promised that he would be delivering a lot of destruction soon. "Let's wreck this jerk beard's fleet everyone! Everyone, do what you do best, and let's beat these jerks!"
"Let's go, Balloon. We'll go up and take out their sails and masts from above!" Ann urged Balloon, who shrieked his agreement. Ann focused on allowing a thin stream of magic to flow into Balloon, his feathers sharpened and a split second later they were already disappearing into the stormy clouds together.
Zoro's eyes flashed as he grinned and, as he wrapped a chain around his left hand and moved to clench Wado Ichimoji between his teeth, he acknowledged. "You got it, Captain." His feet were solid when he leaped onto the other ship and like a bladed whirlwind, he began to cut through the forces that rose up to meet him.
Nami's knuckles were white as she gripped onto the helm and looked to the south where the dark clouds were coming in fast. How had she ended up like this? Working with a pirate crew to defend people from a fleet of pirates. She would have rather sailed away as fast as possible once the storm came in but she was really growing to like Luffy's crew even if they were all completely insane. So she nodded resolutely and said, "Right. Dawn - let's get ready to go. This storm is going to swell soon and we need to be ready to lay down a trap for some of those other ships once their sails are down."
Sanji was still standing feeling shocked, he couldn't understand why Luffy would even care about his dream - let alone rally his crew to fight against a force so much more powerful than his own crew was. Like Luffy his own eyes were now on Galley who had somehow moved to a ship 400 feet on the portside of the Crimson Moon and each of the ships was the same distance from each other with the Baratie in the center of them all. He spotted Luffy twisting his arm around the center mast of Dawn 10, 20, 30 times before he launched himself like a cannon right in the direction of the next ship.
Sanji made his decision of what he was going to do not a second later.
"Let me use one of those bird things!" Sanji said even as he ran towards the fore hatch, which opened on its own allowing a big green seagull to hop out.
As soon as Sanji jumped onto the seagull-lure's back it jumped over the side of the ship and flew Sanji into the same direction Luffy flung himself over to. Sanji tapped the lure on the top of its head and said, "Stay below the clouds and close to where Luffy is so I can keep up with his movements. Zeff's a tough old bastard so he and the Baratie will be fine, but that bastard captain of yours is fighting for the sake of my dream and I won't let him die."
Luffy's eyes were completely focused on Galley when he landed on the deck of the next ship. Galley's own expression opened up with shock at Luffy's method of ship-to-ship movement.
"Men! Attack that maniac and kill him when he gets here!" Galley shouted his order to his crew and stumbled back in surprise when Luffy began making his way through his crew towards where he was standing like they were nothing!
"Get down here and fight me yourself you Weird-Beard!" Luffy hollered from the lower deck up at Galley who was in the crows nest of the ship.
Galley pulled a revolver out from where it was tucked into his belt and shouted down, "I'd rather kill you from up here!"
BANG
The shot went right into the center of Luffy's chest but he didn't even flinch. In fact he simply glared up at Galley and said "You can't kill me no matter how many times you try."
"You can't do anything from down there - I can go to any one of my ships and you'll be stuck here while I go sink your ship before I go to that restaurant and slaughter everyone in that floating heap of filth!" Galley snarled back.
A split second later a rain of black fell from the sky, completely shredding the sails and flag of the ship, and piercing both Galley and his men on the deck of the ship. Luffy didn't flinch as he twisted his left arm behind his back and pulled a handful of sharp feathers out from his right shoulder blade near to the center of his back. He did look up in confusion though.
"Sorry Luffy! I'll get the other ships before you get there!" High in the sky just faintly on the wind was the sound of Ann's voice. It was at the volume of a whisper even though she was shouted as loudly as she could from above.
Her attack, however, kept the crew on the deck delayed just enough for Luffy to be able to sling shot his way up to the crow's nest and punch Galley in the face - crunching his nose a second, even more satisfying time.
The attack sent Galley falling backwards, miraculously missing the sails and rigging to let him fall straight onto the deck - stunned by the attack.
Galley grit his teeth together and pushed himself to his feet. From above he could hear Luffy shouting "Rubber Pistol!"
Ignoring the sound as best he could Galley looked over to another ship and once again he slapped a hand to the front of his hat and shouted "Send Me Over There!" vanishing from sight leaving Luffy behind once again.
He appeared on Orlop's ship up in the crows nest and holding his nose to stem the blood from pouring out he sternly ordered, "You lot start sailing to that restaurant - I'll go over to Kelson and have him sail further out to act as reinforcement. I'm going to kill everyone on that crew and sink that restaurant."
"Aye, Captain!" Orlop confirmed with a fierce grin and watched as Galley laid his hand on his hat and vanished from the crow's nest once again. He turned to his crew and shouted, "You heard the captain! Start heading to that restaurant - NOW!"
Zoro very easily had cleared the crew of the Crimson Moon with none of the crew able to put up much of a fight. One pirate with only one hand even ran away from him and dove overboard rather than face him in battle, though he quickly forgot about him. He did however hear the splintering and cracking of the ship beneath him and heard Dawn call out "Zoro! Jump over the portside rail!"
The deck was lurching in an unusual motion and so he did as Dawn requested, only to unexpectedly land on the back of a big green seagull. "What the-!? Why did I need-"
Zoro cut himself off once he looked at the Crimson Moon and watched as a multitude of green vines branching between Dawn and the oversized ship were splintering the ship into pieces.
"Zoro! Nami says to destroy either the mast or as much of the rigging and sails as you can while you're fighting on the other ships. We'll go starboard if you'll start going for the portside ships!" Dawn spoke from the lure below.
Zoro nodded and said, "Just drop me onto a ship and I'll start - try to find a ship with a lot of swordsmen. Maybe I'll find a decent challenge."
"The one at the ten o clock position, then." Dawn said and Zoro had to steady himself as Dawn swooped suddenly into the direction of another ship, nearly toppling off the lure in the process.
"How does that witch make flying look so easy?" Zoro muttered out loud, opting to flip under and hold onto the feet of the lure rather than riding on top. As soon as he could have something solid beneath his feet he would feel much better.
As he approached the ship the cannons started firing and Zoro let go just as a cannon exploded the lure Dawn had given him as he dropped onto the deck of the ship. The storm, the explosion of cannonfire and the wickedly delighted grin on his face would cause the crew of the ten o'clock position ship to have nightmares for months.
"Tiger Hunting."
Ann, once she had seen Luffy had been on the deck of the ship she had powered Balloon up to attack, winced in shame. She didn't want to hurt any of her friends with her own or any of Balloon's attacks and vowed, "I will apologize and make this up to Luffy after the fight, Balloon. We need to keep a much keener eye out for our friends so we don't hurt them."
To be fair, spotting anyone so specifically while flying in a storm so high up in the air would be a challenge for most people, so she took out her spyglass in order to more accurately check the decks of the different ships to direct Balloon's attacks with a little better finesse.
Her eyes were wide once she spotted the remains of Galley's flagship the Crimson Moon and began making sweeping attacks to shred the sails and rigging of the remaining six ships.
Balloon swooped and swerved suddenly, just avoiding a strike of lightning but still close enough that both he and Ann felt a bit tingly. With grit teeth she smiled widely and said "Let's take out some masts with your magic blast, alright Balloon?"
He cried out in agreement and with absolute delight in his eyes he focused on the bond between himself and Ann - charged up and refined the magic between them - and let loose the first blast of magic down to the main mast of a ship below, disguised as a lightning strike from above.
Nami watched as multiple vines stretching from Dawn drilled themselves into the hull of the Crimson Moon and began tearing the other ship apart. Both the sea and the sky were now gray from the surging storm and Nami could see lightning crackling up in the clouds as well as striking close to the water.
"A swell is coming from the starboard side!" Nami called out "Face your bow into it and go over it towards the ship Luffy flung himself to! We'll get them to capsize once he's out of there!"
Dawn followed Nami's instructions and skipped through the storm as though she were dancing in the storm. A few twists and turns and some instruction from Nami was more than enough to capsize two of the ships in short order. Especially since the crews manning the ship had to choose between fighting Zoro and Luffy versus fighting nature herself.
Ann ended up spotting Zoro swimming in the water between a ship and a wreck and so directed Balloon to dive in to scoop him up onto his back. Zoro wasn't expecting it and nearly toppled off Balloon's back and into the sea again but was able to steady himself.
"What happened to Dawn's lure?" Ann called back to Zoro, who was still shaking water from his ears (not that it helped since it was till storming)
"It got hit by a cannonball. I was swimming over to the next ship since she wants me to damage the masts." He said.
"Balloon can take care of the mast from up here."
Before Zoro could ask how Balloon was supposed to do anything from above the clouds Balloon opened his mouth wide and a blast of energy shot from his mouth onto the mast of a ship far below them, cracking the mast in half as though it had been struck by lightning.
Zoro blinked slowly. Nodded once. Opened his mouth and said, "Are you going to have Balloon do that to the marines too?"
Ann blinked in shock. "What marines?"
"It's a BEAM!" Luffy's expression was one of open delight and wonder as he watched the beam of white magic energy slam into the fourth ship's mast, cracking it completely in half.
The moment of distraction was just enough that one of the cannonballs shot in his direction caused him to ricochet down into the water, where he immediately began to sink.
"Hah! Take that you stupid monkey!" Galley shouted down into the sea cackling with delight as the storm began to finally fade away, leaving just the rolling clouds up above. "You have the same weakness as me - you can't swim and there's no one who can help you now, so just die down there!"
There was a small splash that went nearly unnoticed due to the storm waves beginning to recede but Sanji was now in the water, swimming towards a rapidly sinking Luffy. Thanks to Galley's gloating where Sanji was able to hear it, he was able to take immediate action.
Once he pulled Luffy to the surface he immediately began yelling at him. "You idiot! What the hell are you doing flinging yourself across the water if you can't even swim! Why the hell would you be so reckless!?"
Luffy, drained as he was thanks to the sea water, just mumbled, "'e call'd yrr dream stuupd... tis nt..."
From just below where Sanji had been treading in the water, supporting Luffy (who was as pliant and relaxed as a perfectly cooked linguine noodle) the water began to churn and Sanji felt something firm beneath his feet lift both himself and Luffy up out of the water as it ascended the pair of them up out from the surface of the sea.
The ship that came up from under the water was smaller than Dawn but it was an unusual one that was in the shape of a fish. It was a submarine but this one wasn't made of metal. Instead it looked like it had been carved from some kind of white ivory-like substance in the place of it. There were dark porthole windows that couldn't be seen into and it had a hatch on the top. The most important detail that Luffy and Sanji noticed about it, however, was the fact that it was flying a flag with the emblem of some kind of bird skull in front of a pair of crossed bones. This was a submarine piloted by pirates of some kind.
"What the hell is that thing?" Galley snarled from the deck of his third-to-last battered ship, not liking this new turn of events.
"Of course. Birds again." Ann muttered to herself as she smacked her hand over her eyes in exasperation as she looked down from above with her telescope, directing her commentary to both Balloon and Zoro. "I think the protection spell on the Baratie finally started to work. I'm sure they're here to help."
She wondered what kind of pirates would go for a bird styled emblem briefly and her brain seemed to freeze in disbelief when she spotted what emerged from the underwater ship. The hatch of the other ship opened widely all of a sudden and as quickly as a platoon of ninjas the crew came up into the daylight to stand just in front of Luffy and Sanji, who was at the forecastle end of the submarine. The remaining pirates of the Crescent pirate crew wanted to pinch themselves to make sure they weren't dreaming when they realized what had come out from the water.
They were penguins and each of them was at least just as tall as Luffy. The ones who came up out from below the shut hatch were not colored black and white like ordinary penguins either. There were three that had dark red flame-like patterns where the straight lines of black feathers ordinarily were - each one's flame pattern was a little different from the others. Otherwise they all had blue bandanas and perfectly round-framed sunglasses covering their eyes. There was an white and orange one whose orange feather pattern looked like ripples from a stone dropped in the water that was wearing a blue knit cap covered with swimming goggles who was wearing a tank top shirt that had wide red, white and blue stripes from top to bottom. The last one they spotted looked to be the tallest of the birds and had blue and white feathers with the blue feather pattern seeming to be spiraled and winding. This one wore a green tricorn hat with a white stripe around the upturned brim on top of a white bandana with yellow polka dots and a green vest with their pirate emblem painted in white across the back.
"Are you guys pirates?" Luffy asked in a very loud excited tone of voice, now that he was out of the water his energy immediately returned. He was more focused on the fact that they had a pirate emblem over the fact that it was a crew of penguins.
