Prologue

In a large forest, full of purple trees that shimmer in the daytime, the forest radiates an otherworldly and peaceful but this peaceful fullness is disturbed by 7 people whose terrifying auras filled with hostility are clashing against each other without any care in the world.

Their hostility is so intense that the animals who are exposed to their aura are dropping like dominos. A man holding a blade that shines with a red glint points it to a figure standing opposite to him while releasing massive amounts of killing intent aimed at that figure.

Looking closely at the figure, you would find a handsome and lean man whose silver hair shines like the moon which complements his diamond-blue eyes that are looking calmly at his opponents while having a kind smile. This man's aura is opposite to the five people standing before him.

The man holding the blade stepped out and spoke with a hostile and chilly tone that would induce fear in anyone standing before him

" Adam, Silvia hand over the baby, he's been touched by the abyss," said a man with long obsidian-coloured hair and blood-red eyes that stared directly into your soul in a cold and emotionless voice.

"Thomas you know very well that I can't give you my son even if he's been corrupted by the abyss, I will destroy anyone who tries to take him from us." answered a man with silver hair and blue eyes that shone like diamonds. The man's answer caused the hostility in the air to skyrocket.

A woman behind Thomas stepped out and tried to persuade Silvia standing next to Adam while holding a baby " Silvia, you know very well what happens to people who are corrupted by the abyss so be reasonable and hand over the baby." only to be met with an ice beam to her face which she defended herself from but firing a fireball.

" Celeste, if you all think that I will willingly hand over my child to be killed then you are sourly mistaken, I would rather fight and die than hand over my precious son," replied Silvia in a hostile tone. After those words were said all hell broke loose on the poor little Forrest, Thomas and his group attacked Adam and Silvia with magic.

Their magic attacks met the unbreakable shield that Silvia conjured before them while Adam quickly retaliated with a star beam that cancelled out the other attack. Adam flew to attack head-on while Silvia enveloped the baby in a blue hexagonal shield and also flew out to support her husband. Their fight caused storms and lightning to hit the Forrest and destroy its peacefulness.

Even though Adam and Silvia were stronger than the others so they could fight back while being simultaneously attacked but they were getting injured but Thomas and his group were also getting injured In the confrontation so the fight appeared to be a 7 way stail mate.

Silvia and Adam, we're only matching the others because of the teamwork honed by fighting together against multitudes of beings for a long time.

While Adam was attacking with his sword, Silvia was backing him up by firing devastating ice and lightning attacks. When Thomas saw that their combined were not enough to stop Adam and Silvia, he created a mental link with his team and said "They're both stronger than us and our attacks aren't doing much damage, here's a plan I'll launch an attack that destroys the barrier protecting the child and you send out your strongest attacks to kill it no matter what."

"Okay" the others simultaneously agreed, While this conversation was taking place Silvia and Adam were also speaking through their mental link."How long is it going to take to teleport the baby?" asked Adam and Silvia replied "Two minutes, The magic circle is taking time to construct." to which Adam nodded his head slightly and blocked an attack from Thomas and Silvia launched a lightning arrow at him.

Thomas let Silvia's spell hit him and pretended to be injured so he could fall back to recover, which prompted the others to increase their attacks to buy him time to execute his plan. While Adam and Silvia were busy defending themselves, they didn't see Thomas charging his blade with all the mana had left and throwing it with all his strength at the barrier.

The blade travelled at high speed and hit the

barrier causing it to fall apart, Celeste and the others attacked the defenceless baby with their strongest elemental attacks. Adam and Silvia quickly tried to stop the attacks but they were only able to stop two of them and when Adam wanted to teleport in front of the attacks he was attacked by Celeste this made Silvia hurriedly create multiple barriers in front of the baby in order to stop the attacks.

"We won't let you save the baby, Adam, Its fate is to die today and there's nothing you can do to stop it," said Celeste as she dodged a sword attack aimed at her neck."If My son is killed today then you all better be ready for an all-out war because I will stop at nothing until all you are dead," replied Adam while trying to pass through Celeste to save his son.

The two attacks arrived before the barriers and shattered them one by one until there was none left and decimated anything that stood in front of them whether it was the baby or the Forrest behind it. Silvia and Adam were shocked and fury was apparent in their eyes as they unleashed devastating attacks at the group but before the attacks could reach the group, a white beam arrived from the sky and teleported them out.

Silvia fell from the sky as her aura quickly dissipated while torrents of tears flooded her eyes but Adam arrived to catch her before she could hit the ground. Adam looked at the place where his son died and mutted with a cold but heartbroken tone "Son I'm sorry I couldn't protect you but don't worry they will feel my wrath even if it is the last thing I do".After he said those words he disappeared with Silvia in his arms.
