After he said that, he could clearly feel that Brother Zhu Zi had sobered up quite a bit on the other end of the phone.
"What did you guys talk about when you met?" he asked Gu Chen directly.
"Actually, we didn't talk about much else, they just wanted a share of the bar's profits and then threatened me using their family members. I ignored them."
"Then we parted on bad terms. It sounded like they weren't going to let it go and they mentioned their association, which seemed pretty formidable. I don't know what they are thinking," said Gu Chen, who seemed to not take it too seriously at the moment.
After listening to Gu Chen, Brother Zhu Zi's tone became much more serious.
"Did they get straight to the point when they spoke with you?"
"You could say that, since they did throw around all sorts of threats."
