"Hold the formation firm, do not falter..."

With a forceful swing of the shield in her grasp, she delivered a hefty blow to a skeleton warrior. The skeletal figure reeled and instantly crumbled into a heap of shattered bones. Swiftly, she brandished the longsword in her right hand and pierced the cranium of another encroaching skeleton.

At the forefront of the formation, a lithe and elegant figure engaged the incoming undead. Beneath the sweep of her sword and shield, the undead were reduced to piles of broken bones.

Under her command, a formation comprising over a dozen shield mercenaries and more than twenty spear mercenaries slowly retreated.

Though the mercenaries were gripped by terror, the formation held its integrity. The undead that assailed the formation were repelled by the spears protruding from behind the shields.

"Bone arrows! Bone arrows approach!"

A warning cry rent the air as a hail of bone arrows descended from the heavens.
