Chapter 49

After the drops ship's landed along with the troops inside the gunships the battle on the ground officially began.

The Ssi-ruu Imperium soldiers instead of remaining on the defensive had immediately gone on the offensive once the Terran soldier's landed on the ground.

But each Terran soldier was equipped with a new MK II Personal shield and advanced laser rifles and machine guns. There were also a variety of different soldiers which included Shock troopers, Heavy troopers, and Light troopers.

While the Ssi-ruu ground forces were strong their technology and weapons were not so no matter how many soldiers they send to fight the Terran forces they wouldn't be able to fully push them off of the planet.

The Hard Trained Terran soldiers had managed to create a central headquarters on the planet after half an hour of the first landing.

The central Headquarters was located in the center of one of the major cities on the planet and with this it allowed the Terran forces to deploy their cruisers to the ground.

Outside the city was clear of enemy troops and as they were all inside the city defending it with their lives. So the cruisers landed on the ground without any resistance from enemy troops.

Once the cruiser's landed thousand's of troops started to march out of the cruiser in neat formations with the officers in front leading their battalions.

After unloading the cruisers would return to providing support from the air as they take over this city.

The same thing was happening all over the planet at the other major cities of the planet as the cruisers landed and the ground and unloaded troops.

Aina who was still watching from the Genesis class Titan ship above the planet was watching the video feed of various soldiers as they fought off the enemy soldiers.

And she figured that this was the perfect time to test the Giant Mech that is said to be able to conquer a planet by itself.

So she gave the order to the Admiral to deploy the Mech out of the Hanger. The Mech was carried out by 6 Gunships and taken into the atmosphere of the planet.

Normally the Mech would be dropped from the ship, but they were nowhere near the appropriate drop height for a safe drop, so they resorted to using the 2nd option which was having gunships drop the Mech down to the surface of the planet.

While the battle for the planet went on Alexander had stopped relaxing and went back to training his force powers and meditating to maintain proper control over his powers. He had also been doing some physical work-outs to stay in shape.

Not 15 minutes later and Cortana had interrupted him.

"Master the Spartan project it officially complete" Said Cortana

Hearing this Alexander stopped his training to face Cortana.

"Finally it's done" Said Alexander excitingly

He then looked at one of his Royal guardsmen and had them prep a transport ship.

The guardsmen saluted and walked off to go carry out their mission. Alexander had gone to take a quick shower after he had been training for some time now.

The shower took 15 minutes before he got out and got dressed and headed to the Royal Hanger where the transport was waiting for him.

Once he arrived he saw Yrena waiting for him at the door of the transport.

"Master I heard the project was complete" Said Yrena

"Yes I was heading over to the facility now to check it out are you coming with me?" Asked Alexander

"yes I want to see what these Spartan's are capable of" Said Yrena

"Well if I had to say then they are like Mandalorian Warrior's except they are much stronger and will follow order's and carry out their mission's with a 100% success rate" Explained Alexander

"100% huh" Yrena was surprised hearing that since that would be super beneficial for the Military and for carrying out special mission's deep in enemy space.

"Now I'm even more interested in seeing them" Said Yrena as they both boarded the transport ship.

Once they both were on Alexander reviewed the combat data assessment that Cortana did on the Spartans, so he can fully know what they are capable of before he gets there.

Yrena joined him and looked at some of the information for the duration of the flight.

The trip to the Facility took 20 minutes and once there Alexander was greeting by the Head scientists of the facility.

"Your Highness I'm so glad that you have come" Said the scientists bowing slightly

"Yeah, Yeah let's skip the pleasantries and get right to it" Said Alexander as he wanted to see

"Of course your Highness let's go and see the Spartans then" Said the Head scientists as he walked towards the facility.

Once inside they took a sky lift to the other side of the facility where the Spartans were all lined up and waiting to greet the Emperor.

They have been trained in this facility for years now ever since they were younger clones and have since been perfected into the perfect soldiers.

After exiting the sky lift Alexander was greeted on both sides by a line of spartan's all lined up standing at attention.

As soon as Alexander walked out of the Sky life all the Spartans greeted him in unison.

The sheer sound of all their voices combined was so good to here in person.

He could also tell just by looking at them how much discipline they have been through and the amount of training they have received.

"Your Highness may I present to you the Spartans" Said the Head scientists

Alexander started to slowly walk past all the Spartans observing them.

He was quite impressed with how much resemblance the Spartans had to the actual Halo Spartans from his world.

He was also excited to see them in action and what better to see them in action then to send them in combat.

"Are they Combat ready" asked Alexander

"yes Your Highness we have finished the project completely, and we can now start creating more Spartan's and improving them with real combat data" Answered the Head scientists

"Good because I have a mission for them already" Said Alexander

"They are yours to command your Highness" Answered the Head scientists

"Okay then I want all the Squad leader to step forward and follow me" Said Alexander as he walked back to the Sky lift.

5 Spartans stepped forward and followed Alexander into the sky lift while Yrena stayed behind to test the combat capabilities of the other Spartans for herself.

With the Spartan program complete Alexander was about to put them to use immediately and start to deploy them to various world's in the Unknown region's.
