Star-Spangled-Shutdown
In this, Action, War, Sci-fi twist, the small American town of Ottawa Illinois is thrown through a series of loops. Apocalypse has fallen upon their doorstep. The Local Hero, The Ghost of Ottawa, and a few others become victims of the old world, corrupt trillionaires, greedy politicians, all eager to get a slice of the pie, but if that wasn't crazy enough, a few trillionaires hope to cyberform the entire world, push deeper into the digital age, keeping the citizens oppressed, and depressed as if orchestrating nuclear warfare wasn't enough. The Ghost and his friends are thrown from situation to situation, unknowing of what the next chapter and curve will bring! The Siege of D.C
As the PBY lifted into the sky, siege began. The PBY crew was blasting Christmas music over the speakers as they flew past the air fleet headed to D.C. The Ghost and Busch Hunter flew the PBY out of enemy territory. The Agents and their families rested inside the old plane as it soared over the desolate land.
The Ghost tuned into 1430 WCMY and listened into the battle communications. So far the siege was going well. Without addition ground units, the D.C aircrafts failed to get into the skies. The sneak attack worked, catching the Remnant Government off guard.
As the Sun rose, D.C was smoking, and the sounds of tank shells and airplane engines filled the sky. So far, the United Regions Defense Force or U.R.D.F, had control of 90% of D.C's regions, monuments, and landmarks, one specific place was the White House. They had seized control of it within the last few minutes of the battle, they had began removing historical documents, picture, and artifacts from it. They would be stored within the U.R.D.F's territory, and distributed amongst the regions.
As the time reached mid-day, most of the fighting was over. The U.R.D.F had defeated the Remnant Government's forces, and had 98% total control of D.C. However the Remnant Government decided that they wouldn't go quietly.
They activated Operation Heavenly Light, this was put into action once before, the reason the survivors hadn't received transitions from Europe and Asia. Government satellites woke up for the first time since the nuclear bombs wiped out most life on earth. They pointed at Washington D.C, awaiting their orders, the Remnant Government gave them an order, If they couldn't have Washington D.C, nobody can. With a 5 mile radius around their bunker, they began their laser bombardment, destroying everything outside their bunker.
