The 200 Brave Souls

As the Spec Shadows returned with the Ghost's grandfather, the warbirds began to take off. The older man stepped out of an early 2000's Chevy S10, watching the TBM Avenger line-up for take off. The two make eye contact, saluted each other. A tear ran down the older man's face as the TBM Avenger took to the sky. Sirens began to wail as the last fighters left ODTA.

The W.P.S.B lowered the Lincoln-Douglas memorial and sealed the top like an old missile silo, everyone inside gathered the main hub and watched the screens, each pilot was listed above, fathers, mothers, son, daughters were sacrificing their lives to try to draw fire away from ODTA.

The Scramble Air Force all circle ODTA one last time before heading to D.C. The weight of what they were doing hit the 200 pilots, the ODTA bunker was sealed, their families watched the planes on screens as they flew to battle.

Heavenly Light satellites began wiping the W.C.C off the map, heading eastward. The Remnant Government laughed as they toasted to the destruction of their former subjects. They were again unaware of of the 200 brave souls headed their way. The lasers swept across the country, melting everything Americans had built, centuries of of blood, sweat and tears of the last true blooded Americans before the war had made and poured into their country, was all for nothing in the wake of their government.

The 200 entered D.C airspace and got a head count, and ammo count before the battle began, all of they fighting for something and someone back in ODTA, someone worth dying for. Together the battle group flew over D.C and began their attack, ready for the biggest blood bath since the beaches of Normandy in World War Two
