Clarity and her friends moved up to the tube carefully, faces concealed so no hidden cameras would get a mugshot.

"Yo...Fucking check this out."

Clarity walked around to the front of the tube to see a man, frozen in ice.

"My dad used to talk about shit like this, said the NWO had an enemy they couldn't beat."

She pressed a button releasing the man from the icy tube. He fell to the floor, he looked about their age, but tube was labeled. "Here lies the Ghost of Ottawa, a idiot who flew too close to the sun."

"YO! This dude's a grifter's legend!"

"Apparently he fought the NWO when they first appeared, they told everyone they'd killed him."

"Looks like the failed."

"Take him back to Point-Peek, I'll meet you there."

The group manages to break out of the warehouse undetected, slipping back into the shadows, headed to their hideout.

Back in their hideout, their doctor began trying to revive the sleeping man. His pulse was weak but there. He was in his twenties' by the look of him, and his body was scarred up and down. The others watched and waited, Clarity sat on the roof smoking knowing this wouldn't change anything, the NWO was too big and too strong, nobody would listen to a guy 20 years gone. She took a long pull then blew out the last of her cigarette and went back inside.

Inside, the man was awake and had dug a tracker out of arm and leg, his blood was everywhere and the team was packing up in a hurry.

"Droppers will be here in less than five minutes, get your shit and get out, take him with you, regroup later, lay low."

She nodded and grabbed her bag and took the man by the hand and had him put on a helmet, concealing his face. Her motorcycle took off down the freeway, as the team bugged out, shortly after their hideout was raided by the "Droppers".

The Ghost took in the sights of F.C as they sped down the freeway. He was amazed by what he saw, it was like something out of an old cyberpunk video game, everything was digitized, and he hadn't had a digital footprint since 2020. The world was more and more different, no way they'd done this in a short amount of time.

Back at Clarity's apartment, he showered, still in awe of the city. Clarity sat on her balcony watching the city below.
