Love and Revenge

The Crowd was going wild as Richardson got ready for another attack. The Ghost looked and him and spoke.

"I will beat you, not because I'm a legend, but because there are promises made that I must keep."

"Well then, it's a good thing I brought your wife here, she can watch you die, failing to keep her safe." The Collector smirked as he pointed to the big screen showing The Ghost's wife.

"Shit...."

"Richardson has just signed his own death certificate."

The Ghost lost all emotion on his face, and squared himself to the Collector.

"DON'T WORRY! I WAS SURE TO HIT HER A FEW TIMES ON THE WAY HERE!"

The crowd watched as the Ghost's breathes became rapid, his fists clenched and his teeth clamped shut. Rather than charge at Richardson, he walked slowly, letting the words really sink in.

"So...you uh...HIT...my wife?"

"Yea, and there's not a damn thing you're gonna..."

Richardson was cut off a barrage of punches, The Ghost's eyes were fixed on him, each strike faster than the next. Richardson for the first time saw the demon behind the man standing in front of him and felt sheer terror.

Each punch was stronger than the next. Richardson tried to flee, but found himself on the ground, staring at a demon.

"Please I.."

"A hard punch to the face cut him off. "Pathetic man." A second punch broke some of Richardson's teeth.

I didn't mean.."

"You put hands... ON MY WIFE!"

A wave of punches to the face left the crowd in fear. Each punch splattered blood on ground, painting it like an artist of vengeance, the Ghost was merciless, grabbing his Kbar, he removed the left arm muscles from Richardson's arm, then shattered his right one. He only got up for a moment to pull Richardson to his feet, then to beat him against the wall. Pulling the Sledgehammer off of his back and slammed it into his chest.

"TOUCH HER AGAIN, GET UP OH GREAT COLLECTOR! SHOW ME YOUR MIGHT! YOU ASKED FOR THE DEMON, WELL YOU FUCKING GOT HIM!"

Several more blows from the hammer shattered Richardson's ribcage and knees. After what seemed like an eternity of the crowd watching Richardson get his ass carved up and served on a bloody platter, the Ghost steps back, letting Richardson fall to the ground, barely conscious.

"I'll finish you off in a moment."

The Demonic glare fell upon the guards keeping his wife in a cage. Like a true demon, the Ghost ripped into the guards. The first has his neck snapped, as the second, the Ghost used his kbar to open a hole in the man's neck, then pulled out the man's spinal cord with a swift strong kick and a firm grip.

"UNDERSTAND THIS, YOU MIGHT GET TO LIVE IF YOU ATTACK ME. ATTACKING HER, OR THEM!" He points to his team and allies. "IS YOU SIGNING YOU OWN DEATH WARRANT AND I WILL PERSONALLY DRAG EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL!"

He then turned back to Richardson who had begun to cry. He picked up his enemy, and turned to the crowd.

"I am not your enemy...I AM THE ENEMY!" he yelled painting the crowd behind him with the brains and blood of Richardson. The sledgehammer's handle finally snapping from the force of the impact. He laughed as he held the broken hammer in his hands, shrieks and screams followed suit as the blood-soaked Ghost made his way to the Panel box and finished what they'd started.

"Don't run now, you made the fucking bed, LAY THE FUCK DOWN IN IT AND DIE!" he yelled as he bludgeoned two members, their skulls cracked open like egg shells. The people at home were cheering as he made his way into the Arena center.

"WHO THE FUCK WILL STEP UP AND CHALLENGE ME!"

Blood ran down his arms, his face and his hands. He had won, and he'd kept his promise. If he couldn't keep her safe, the person responsible for hurting her won't live to see another day just as he'd been trained to.
