A new friend

After Bryan and his manager left, Luna sat back at the swing. Eric jogged to where she was sitting, here you are, I have been looking for you every where, Eric said. I was just here waiting for the dismissal bell.

How is your injury? It's fine, it's nothing serious, seems like the dance class is over? Yeah it is.The bell rang immediately for dismissal. Alright you can go now, I will walk you to the gate, Eric said. They walked to the gate and Eric helped Luna flag down a taxi, Luna got in and bid Eric good bye .

The taxi stopped at Luna's neighborhood as it couldn't go any further. Luna got down and started trekking towards her house, she saw a girl crouching down in tears, seeming to be in pain, she approached her. Hey are you okay? Luna asked. The girl looked up to her, no am not okay, I just sprained my ankle, I can't walk and my aunt flo suddenly came, she answered embarrassingly .Let me help you up first, where's your house? It's down there, the girl pointed toward a certain direction , I think it's on my way, let's go, Luna said helping her up and supporting her to walk.

They walked a distance and finally arrived at the girl's house which happened to be the house next to Luna's , they were neighbors. Thank you so much for your help, I would have still been there alone if it weren't for you. It's ok, it's just a simple favor, Luna said. What's your name? I will treat you to a meal later since we are neighbors, my name is Kim Luna, ok Luna am Melissa thank you for your help once again. It's nothing, you don't have to thank me repeatedly, why don't you open your door so I can help you in, I don't think you can walk with the condition of your foot, you are right, Melissa said rummaging through her bag to find her key but she couldn't find it, omg I think I forgot my key inside and my mom is not yet back, I have to wait for her out here. Why don't you wait for her at my place, I mean it's not safe for you to wait outside with your injured foot, Luna offered. That's really nice of you, thank you again.

Luna unlocked her door and helped Melissa into the house, I will get an ointment for your foot. She got the ointment and applied it on Melissa's ankle, ouch it hurts, sorry it won't hurt in a bit, Luna said. She applied the ointment and gently messaged her foot, how is it now? She asked Melissa. I think it's better now, Melissa said trying to get up but it still hurt a bit. You still have to apply the ointment for two more days before it can be completely healed.

You said your aunt flo is here , you can use my bathroom to freshen up, I have some spare clothes and p*d since your clothes is messed up, Luna offered again. Ok I will accept your kindness, I don't think I have a choice, Melissa said smiling at Luna, she followed Luna to her room and Luna led her to the bathroom, freshen up I will go get the spare clothes.

After washing up and changing, Melissa sat down on Luna's bed looking around her room, your room is really cozy I like the design. Thank you. Are you living here alone, Melissa asked curiously, no I live with my brother, he's still at work right now. So, you are Korean, I mean your name. Yes am Korean, we moved to America recently . That's cool, I didn't even know we had new neighbors, am very happy you are here, it's been a while we had some gen-z in the neighborhood, just grumpy old men, Melissa whined. Is that STAR ACADEMY uniform? Melissa asked again. Yes I attend STAR ACADEMY, I got a scholarship there it's the major reason why we relocated, Luna answered her. Omg, you so lucky, that means you get to see celebrities everyday like DIAMONDS, THE QUEENS, HARMONY,SPARKLING and even my crush Angelo Aguas, Melissa said excitedly , Yea I have seen SPARKLING AND THE QUEENS but I haven't seen DIAMONDS or HARMONY, I just resumed few days ago, Luna answered truthfully. How does Angelo look in real life? Is he cute? Is he handsome and also sexy ? Melissa asked Luna excitedly holding her hands. Well he's good. Ahhhhhhhhh, I knew my idol was real, Melissa screamed excitedly scaring Luna who ended up laughing with her. They two talked about many girly stuffs and in no time they became friends, they were still chatting when they heard the door bell, I will go check I think my brother is back, Luna said getting down from the bed to go get the door. She saw that it was her brother and opened the door, welcome brother, hello princess how are you? Am fine and you? How was work? Am good and work was fine, Kim Tan answered.

Melissa came out of Luna's room, uhmm brother meet my friend Melissa and Melissa this is my big brother Kim Tan, hello big brother, Melissa greeted, hello, Kim Tan replied to her greeting. Alright you girls have fun, I will go freshen up and prepare dinner, he said leaving for his room.

Omg Luna, you didn't tell me that your brother was so handsome, I know right, Luna said smiling. Yeah with a face like that he should be in the entertainment industry, he would have alot of fan girls, Melissa said seriously. You are exaggerating, no am not Luna. The both were still squabbling when Melissa's phone rang with a childish ringtone of SpongeBob SquarePants, I think my mom is back, she's calling. I have to go now Luna, I will see you tomorrow, thank you so much for your help today, Melissa said. You have thanked me the hundredth time already, it's nothing really, let's go I will walk you to the door, Luna said. She walked Melissa to the door and she finally left.

Kim Tan has finished washing up and was preparing dinner in the kitchen, Luna walked into the kitchen, you have got a new friend already? A school mate? He asked. No she's our neighbor , I just helped her with something and it so happened that we became friends. That's cool, am glad you are making friends at least it won't be boring here. Let's quit talking about me, how was your first day at work? Luna asked with folded hands looking at Kim Tan, he chuckled at her expression, well it was really ok, am still familiarizing my self with everything and my boss is nice so it's fine. Am glad that the work environment is ok, I was worried it wouldn't be okay for you given that it's such a big entertainment company, Luna said. You don't have to worry princess, it's really nice, Kim Tan said smiling, alright go set the table, dinner will be ready in few minutes. Luna left to set the table.

The both had dinner, chatted a little bit before retreating to their rooms to sleep.
