A Dark Plan (Part 2)
In a rocky clearing, a young man with tousled brown hair and striking green eyes sprinted through the underbrush, his heart pounding in his chest. He felt frantic, as though the shadows themselves were chasing him. With his Endowment sealed away, he was powerless against the lurking Shadow Monsters that haunted this forsaken place. He needed a boost, a way to awaken the abilities locked within him. The thought nagged at him, relentlessly*Where do I find humans?*
His mind was racing, caught between desperation and madness. "I have to find them," he muttered to himself, frustration creeping into his voice. But his search was interrupted when a Shadow Monster materialized in front of him, its grotesque form writhing and twisting in the dim light. The young man skidded to a halt, dread pooling in his stomach as the creature's haunting gaze fixed on him.
