:First Rebirth Of Cyrus

The blade pierced his heart and stopped pumping. Cyrus fell to his knees and died with a red holographic screen visible only to him.

The guard grinned and removed his blade from Cy's heart. Staring at the girl, he muttered, "You've got magic, don't you? Tell us his heart is still beating."

Just as the guard had said, the girl focused her hearing on Cy's heart, and her eyes widened. Cyrus was completely dead; his heart wasn't even flinching.

"Guess the system was wrong for once. There is no such thing as an instant rebirth," the guard said with a mocking tone as he began approaching the girl who bumped into the wall.

However...

Ba-thump, Ba-thump, Ba-thump, Ba-thump

They all heard it, not just the girl. They all heard the heart beating and pumping blood, and they could feel the red carpet vibrating.

But it wasn't a big deal. If the guard could have killed Cyrus before, then he should have been able to do it again. Besides, the system says he dies repeatedly.

Although Cy's heart had started beating, he was still on his knees, and his bleeding had stopped. The guard grinned and gripped his blade tight.

"Let's see what happens when your head rolls off… Shall we?" said the guard with a dark sinister grin etched on his face.

Boom!

As the guard zoomed forward to slice Cy's head, our MC, at an unfathomable speed, stood up and dashed against the guard.

In a tremendous display of resilience... KaBoom! Cy's palm covered the whole face of the guard. KaBoom! He smashed this guy's head to the ground.

Erupting rocks in the sky and the result is Cy on top of the big guy, staring at the red screen beneath him.

The other guard stumbled backward, one, two, and three times when Cyrus walked away like a cold killer and muttered to him, "He's dead... Don't bother treating him."

The nerd and the girl watched Cyrus walk off like some mob god. In fact, the nerd liked the situation so well. First, he now knows Cyrus gets stronger with every death, as he had presumed.

'Of course, Cyrus wasn't that strong before; something must have happened when he died... But can he get stronger without dying first?' thought Nerd.

The girl glanced at the dead guard lying on the broken floor. Without hesitation, she ran to catch up with Cyrus, and, as if her ability were instant teleportation, she caught up with him.

"Cyrus," yelled the girl jovially as she hopped on him. "Boss, boss, you were amazing," the girl said, smiling as she grabbed Cy's arm.

"Bossie, should I clean you up?"

Those words just made Cyrus' day, cleaning him up. Doesn't that mean bathing him, and a girl is the one doing that?

He acted like he was debating on the topic and said yes almost instantly. The girl also felt elevated when Cyrus agreed, and they both entered her room.

Meanwhile...

On a round metallic table that had a map covering the full borders, different types of men and women were there.

Elf, skeleton Berserker king, demon human, and some other demons. The round table of the ten highest demons ranks.

"The angels have broken through the first wall; this is the only demon city left, so what do we do?" asked the skeleton Berserker king.

"Time is not on our side; we need strong demons and players. What is Elsa doing?"

"She had summoned a few, so she and her summoning spell have ceased for some reason," replied the peng elf.

"Well so? The ones she summoned, how strong are they?" asked the skeleton Berserker king. At the question, all eyes fell on the peng demon elf.

"Three were highly praised, one of them being the incarnation of the beast monarch."

The last two words brought murmurs on the round table. The incarnation of the beast monarch? That wasn't rare but impossible.

"I saw it myself; it seems lord destruction is planning on reviving. It is in one of their bodies, and I believe he'll be nurturing whoever that human is."

"If the lord's destruction comes back, I don't think anything will survive; the world will be ours at that time," said the skeleton Berserker king.

Eventually, the demon with six eyes said something of his own. "And how are we doing with the other demon kings trying to make the lord's destruction stay dead?"

"I heard the demon king Barnas is near the walls; he tried to take over the world before. The Lord's destruction returns… he has even opened dungeons, not just in our world but that of the angels."

"Are there not any weaklings summoned?" asked the skeleton king.

"Well. There is one I know of. He says here his ability is supreme trash and. He would keep on dying repeatedly."

As the peng elf said those words, they all laughed; even the skeleton king laughed so hard that he was holding his bones hidden behind his purple dark robe.

"Then send him to look for the demon king Barnas. He obviously cannot kill a demon lord, so he should just find him and kill any angels on his way."

Meanwhile, the girl was sitting on top of Cyrus, whose body was now clean of blood, and wearing dark trousers as he was on the bed with the girl on top of him.

"Bossie... Let's make babies," said the girl jovially.

Cy's expression widened, making no response. The girl leaned forward and crawled her fingers from Cy's chest towards his lips. "Bossie, let's make-"

Cyrus was overall confused. At first, he had no idea what a dungeon was. Two, no idea why the blue holographic screen kept insulting him, and three, no idea why the girl kept staring at the screen.

"Woah Bossie, you've been assigned to the hunter class."

A dungeon is a place where monsters and beasts dwell, and also an advantage is that killing these beasts would grant demon cores.

These cores can be sold to earn money or forged as high-grade weapons, depending on the level of the demon killed.

"But Bossie, once you enter a dungeon, there's no coming out until it's cleared."

"Okay, so what's the problem with that?"

"The quest cannot be achieved, Bossie. If you find the demon king Barnas, you'll be trapped inside the dungeon because you found him," said the girl jovially, this time she had already climbed on Cy's shoulder.

Cy glanced at the blue screen before he dismissed it and thought.

'Few days? This thing is tricky and stupid. Wonder what type of quest Nerd and Aisha were given,' thought Cy.
