Preparing

The time was incoming, for the devotion to begin. I assumed that everyone wore black, being that it was more like a funeral than anything.

I buttoned up my suit, feeling this sensation of freshness. I felt good, meaning that I looked good. 

"You know, we wore stuff like this so many times when we went to see our sponsors. It looked like we were entering into a gala, or some proper festival," Hans said. "I'm basically a natural."

"Natural?" I asked, which I added a scoff to further emphasize my doubt. "Who isn't."

Hans lowered his head suddenly, looking past me which convinced me to do the same. Greg was literally fighting for his life just trying to knot up a tie. "Prime example," Hans said, flashing a grin which I rolled my eyes defeatedly.
