In what seemed like an eternity, our order finally arrived at our table, though the ravenous anticipation of my hunger may have played a role in making time feel sluggish. He effortlessly spun his fork between his fingers before expertly skewering a piece of meat, and for a brief moment, I couldn't help but second-guess my own choice.
