Sam Cranston hated his name. That's why he liked being an MP. People just called him Sir. He was paired up with Betty, who didn't like her name much either. Most people didn't know they were in counter intelligence. As MP's they got to hear some interesting things and plant information in useful places. Today they were transporting some guy named Bo to Thompson.
Their orders were to question Bo about the camp and any other intel they could get out of him. Questions only; the Colonel didn't trust intel that came from pain. People would say all kinds of shit when they were hurting. Sam knew this, he'd spent time in the field watching assholes trying to beat the truth from captives. They never got anything he'd call useful.
Sam liked mind games. It made him useful to the Colonel. They were also a lot more fun.
