Jiang Chen was shocked seeing the pokemon displayed in the screen.

Shangguan Ling'er was surprised seeing the reaction.

Shangguan Ling'er "Mr Jiang is there any problem with this pokemon. Is it week?"

Jiang Chen thought for a moment and asked "Miss Shangguan can I speak to you privately?"

Shangguan Ling'er nodded and Su Lin went outside.

Jiang Chen "Miss Shangguan are you related to Shangguan family?" he asked to confirm.

Shangguan Ling'er was little surprised, she thought everyone knew her, but she nodded.

Shangguan Ling'er " I am eldest daughter of the family head, Shangguan Tianyue."

Jiang Chen was silent for a minute and then decided to speak.

Jiang Chen "Miss Shangguan ,things got little complicated. Can you give me some time to explain." he asked and indicated her to sit. Then he went to click some keys on the machine and poke ball dropped. Jiang Chen immediatly released the pokemon inside. She saw a pokemon coming outside, it was little green in color and was levitating on the air. It looked very beautiful. Shangguan Ling'er could feel some hidden connection with it. She also felt some suppression happening. She was familiar with various pets. She was in close contact with many powerful familiars. Her father and grand father were transcendent level powerhouses, Shangguan family has 5 transcendent level powerhouses. She saw few transcendent level familiar beasts in close contact, she was in close contact with her fathers main Familiar Dragon blooded Lion. But she felt the suppression she is facing from this little guy more suppressing .She can understand why Jiang Chen was hesitant and shocked. The pokemon she drew turned out to be a powerhouse.

Jiang Chen "Miss Shangguan, I will get straight to point. There were over 900 types of pokemon and they are classified in various ways. But by based on powerscale, there are 4 classifications. Legendary Pokemon, Pseudo Legendary Pokemon, Royal Starters and Normal Pokemon."

Jiang Chen "So there is no explanation needed for normal pokemon."

Jiang Chen "I will explain about legendary pokemon, they are the hegemons of the pokemon realm. They are so powerful, that any of them can destroy a country on its own. A single legendary pokemon has significant powers and abilities that they can either create life or destroy life alone."As Jiang Chen was explaining about pokemon, CELEBI flew and sat on Shangguan Ling'er shoulders. She felt a sense of calm when she saw the pokemon. 

"Each of these legendary pokemon guards some secrets and takes part in protecting the world. They are stand alone. They are also different grades among them based on power, They are unique existence so only one of a kind exists among them and they don't breed. "

"Second are pseudo legendries, they are right below legendaries in powerscale and challenge them to some extent, they are extremely rare. But they are available."

"Third are Royal starters, they are the pokemons with high potential and extremely strong, they are most suitable for beginner trainers."

Shangguan Ling'er can already guess the pokemon next to her is a legendary.

Shangguan Ling'er "Is she a legendary?"

Jiang Chen "Yes, but one of grade 1 legendaries. Her name is Celebi."

"Celebi" also introduced herself.

Shangguan Ling'er can understand Jiang Chen's hesitation, no one would be willing to sell such a powerful beast to others.

Jiang Chen "Miss Shangguan, we are facing tow issues here. First is whether to sell or not."

Shangguan Ling'er frowned, she understood the dilemma but didn't expect to be that vocal.

Jiang Chen "Miss Shangguan don't misunderstand, I mean to sell for you or to give it freely."

Shangguan Ling'er was more surprised by this.

Jiang Chen "Since Celebi selected you, it is out of my hands, even though I consider myself powerful, I can't influence what pokemon thinks. So, since Celebi selected you, it means she though you have some connection. I can't break it. So, I have no choice but to let Celebi go. That is the reason, I released Celebi before explaining it to you."

Jiang Chen "So, I have two ways to proceed further, one I can sell it to you for 2billion credits. Second is.."

Shangguan Ling'er felt the price was fair based on powerscale, not fair it is less. She can afford it. But she wanted to hear the second option.

Jiang Chen "Second is to tie you to this shop. Since Celebi was able to select you, it means you are person with pure heart and will only help pokemon. So, it would be beneficial for the shop to have you. So, second choice is to employee you as assistant store manager. You will be my partner in running the store. We can discuss about other details later."

"Celebi." celebi also understood.

Shangguan Ling'er "Which one do you prefer?"

Jiang Chen "Miss Shangguan if you are not from Shangguan Family, I would dare to say second option. But, there is influence of Shangguan family now, I won't be presumptuous to ask you to be asst. manager."

Shangguan Ling'er " Hmm, Can you give me some time to think about it."

Jiang Chen "Sure, Celebi is already yours, so you can decide and let me know your decision tomorrow."

Shangguan Ling'er "What is second issue?"

Jiang Chen "It is issue of contract?"

Jiang Chen "It is not possible to contract Celebi for now?"

Jiang Chen "As Celebi is a legendary pokemon, it is born a transcendent . So your spirit value will not support contract with Celebi. You should be minimum level 7 to initiate a contract with Celebi."

Shangguan Ling'er face became pale hearing this. "Is there a solution."

Jiang Chen "These is solution and it is feasible."

Shangguan Ling'er was relieved hearing this ."Good.What is the solution?"

Jiang Chen "For now you have to contract another beast, once you reach 7th Level you can contract celebi."

Shangguan Ling'er "What will happen to Celebi until then?"

Jiang Chen "It will be following you, but there is no formal contract. Contract is just a procedure so that there is a formal bond. Since Celebi and you already have a bond there is no need of formal contract.It will only help you get feedback of spirit value."

Shangguan Ling'er understood what Jiang Chen is saying.

Shangguan Ling'er "We are back to step 1 then, should I go to draw again?"

Jiang Chen "Usually I would agree, but this time, I am not sure, if you draw another legendary we will be back t squire one."

Shangguan Ling'er "Is is possible to draw multiple legendries." she asked jokingly

But Jiang Chen's expression indicated it is possible.

Shangguan Ling'er "Mr Jiang contracted any legendaries."

Jiang Chen just smiled and smirked then she saw a pink Pokemon appearing next to Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen "She is Mew, a pokemon of similar scale to Celebi." 

Shangguan Ling'er expected that Jiang Chen to owe a legendary but she didn't expect it to be there all the time.

Jiang Chen "Mew is guarding the shop and observing the trainers."

Shangguan Ling'er also politely greeted the pokemon. Celebi and Mew went away playing with each other.

Jiang Chen "Don't worry they will be back. Celebi also has ability to hide itself, you will not be able to see it unless she want to be seen."

Shangguan Ling'er "Then can you help me choose another beast."

Jiang Chen "Sure. I think you can start with a pseudo legendary. They are powerful and will not waste a spot for you."

Shangguan Ling'er " Any suggestions?"

Jiang Chen "Hmmm.. I think I have a pokemon for you. You won't mind if same pokemon is there with others right?"

Shangguan Ling'er "Are you planning to give your pokemon for me?" she asked jokingly.

Jiang Chen "I was planning to give this to my sister? You can take it, I will get another one for her."

Shangguan Ling'er was surprised "You can choose another one for me,I won't mind?"

Jiang Chen "I mean, I will find same one for her, not different one, there are multiple pokemon of same species, for others except legendries."

Saying that Jiang Chen entered some values in computer and a pokeball dropped from the machine, it was yellow and black in color. She observed the change in color ball.

Shangguan Ling'er was not interested in looking, she wanted to form a contract first, then she will look. She dropped the drop of blood and a contract was immediatly formed, she can feel the contract inside her spirit palace. She saw the procedure before, so she gave the ball back to Jiang Chen and also gave her mobile phone.

It took couple of minutes for Jiang Chen to complete the procedure.

This time finally Shangguan Ling'er summoned her pokemon.

She saw a small blue snake with white ears. It looked so elegant and beautiful. She fell in love with it immediatly.

She then checked her mobile for the pokedex app and looked for information.

Name : Dratini (#147)

Type : Dragon

Level : 5

Gender : Female

Ability: Shed Skin

Moves :Leer, Wrap, Twister, Dragon Breath, Aqua Jet, Extreme Speed, Water Pulse

She went on to look each of its abilities detailed manner.

She then discussed few more details and paid for Dratini ,ultra ball and other food items.

Then she left with Su Lin.

Inside Shangguan Mansion

Shangguan Ling'er directly went inside the mansion.

Shangguan Ling'er "Where is father?"

Shangguan Fengmo " He is in study he is waiting for you." he wanted to ask what happend whether it was possible, but he stopped the questions, when he saw , snake head next to her head, it was definitely a beast. He was sure, it is success.

Inside the study..

Shangguan Tianyue saw his daughter coming and also sensed the Dratini hiding on her body.

Shangguan Tianyue "So, that strange shop helped you contract a beast?"

Shangguan Ling'er " There is more to it, I need to consult you regarding a decision."

She then told him everything regarding the shop and what happened in the shop.

Shangguan Tianyue "What do you want to do?"

Shangguan Ling'er "I want to listen to your opinion once."

Shangguan Tianyou thought for couple of minutes and spoke "I think you should take the offer."

Shangguan Ling'er was surprised hearing this , she thought her father would have a different opinion.

Shangguan Tianyue "Our family is so huge and we don't lack heirs and there are there are many who can replace you in family for any role you have. This is same for anyone in family, even I am replaceable so are you and your siblings."

Shangguan Tianyue "But, from what you said about Pokemon Shop, you are a very important person. With you there it would be more meaningful."

Shangguan Tianyue "If his intentions and action follow similar pattern. He would be the most influential person in the future. So, it is better to follow him."

Shangguan Tianyue "What were you thinking?"

Shangguan Ling'er "My thoughts didn't differ much?"

Shangguan Tainyue "Hmmm. All the best for your future?"
