Chapter 106 – Conversation at the Luxurious Bathhouse

Robert's POV

Later after that feast-like dinner, me and my group went to the family's private bathhouse, which was huge and offered hot, steaming water. There while Emma, Blaise, and Zarah are at the female section, me and the others are relaxing in resting after that long trip from Peacewood. Also, my maternal grandparents' names are Dan and Fiona.

"Wow, their bathhouse is so huge," Harold commented. "I never been in such a huge bathhouse before."

"Oh, really?" Stephen asked back.

"Yeah," answered Harold. "We do have a bathhouse at the royal castle in Vanworth, but it was smaller than this."

"I see."

Then, William responded, "Ours is as a big as this, you know, but without all that ornaments and decorations."

"Oh, your family might not be the type to throw money around, right?" Stephen asked.

"Yeah, we are," answered William. "We only spend money on the essentials like food, but often of high-quality."

"My clan's bathhouse is made of brick and wood," I responded.

"That's quite decent," Stephen commented.

"Thanks."

"I really liked this," Sol humbly commented.

"Me too," Peter responded.

After that, I began to wonder how is Marionette doing, and I asked that to Harold, including the question why she didn't come.

"Oh, big sis?" Harold replied back. "She is now in charge of your older sister's potion shop."

This surprises me a lot because I didn't know that.

"What? She's now working at big sis' shop?"

"Yeah, because she wants to help out," Harold reasoned in response.

"I see," I replied back.

Then, grandpa Dan, in his bath towel, came and joined in.

Me and the others then noticed him, and I responded, "Oh, grandpa!"

"Hello, Robert, how's the bath here?" grandpa asked back.

"It's so nice, thanks," I answered back happily.

"Yeah, we always improve this place to make it nicer," grandpa replied as he sat next to me.

After that, grandpa asked me how is my school life.

"Well, it's fine, fine," I responded back. "I have a good life in Peacewood Magic Academy, and I have good scores on my recent exam."

"That's good to hear," replied grandpa. "I think you're doing great. I heard from Zarah that you're beginning to work on your wind magic. How was it?"

"Well, it's weak and small, but I'm progressing, bit by bit," I responded back.

"I see. I am a sage and master in wind magic."

To that I thought, "Wow, just like grandpa Aaron, but in wind magic."

Then, Sol entered in our conversation. "Well, I considered him as special and valuable."

"Why is that?" grandpa asked back.

"It's because of his skills, not his noble blood," Sol explained.

Hearing that, me and my friends are very surprised.

"Um, is he?" William raised a question.

Sol then looked at him and responded, "Yes, but with your demon magic, you are, too. Only a handful of my graduated students are considered special and worthy to be placed and assigned in high-leveled missions."

To that I wondered in my mind, "I wondered what does a high-leveled mission looked like?"
