Shaking his head a little with a small grin, Arthur Valar chuckled, deciding to just glaze over the amusing spectacle, quickly regaining his stern expression, "So, young Dragonborn, I have many questions for you. What I would like to ask first, however, is how you know the secrets of the Nightwalkers. After all, this concerns the palace security."
Clearing his throat, Luca held his hands together behind his back as he spoke, "I can actually answer most of your questions very quickly by giving you the solution to the biggest question: my mission." After the king gestured for him to continue, he gathered his courage to state, "To fully explain my mission, I must first give you one of my identities, one that can be verified by multiple deities." He emphasized deities enough for the king to notice as an important detail. "I am a time traveller, from the future. To be specific, I am from 4:75 Divine. As I have experienced the future, the Lords of Light and Darkness projected me back in time, replacing my old existence with a new one in order to enact the mission they have given me: to end hostilities between both factions as best as possible and to prepare for the return of the Demon Emperor."
King Arthur Valar's stoic expression slowly morphed into one of confused astonishment. "I admit, that did partially answer my question. However, that answer both simplified and complicated things for me. Let's take this slowly. I can accept time travel, as that is, after all, divine-class Time Magic, but you said both of the Twin Lords sent you back in time with the same mission?" After a second of thinking after he spoke, he realized the piece of information he'd missed earlier, "Right, the return of the Demon Emperor would be worth the two of them becoming allies. Alright, scratch that question, let's try another one. The Demon Emperor's return, huh?"
"Yes, Your Majesty. In 4:60 Divine, outbreaks of demon-related activities will spring up and gradually cause a half-decade of chaos until 4:65, when the Demon Emperor and his retinue shatter the ancient World Barrier erected by Sage Zoroaster despite multiple deities reinforcing it. As of the present time, both Twin Lords are almost entirely focused on the barrier, and they used their remaining spare energy in combination with their counterparts in the future to forcible project me back in time to change Andor's fate." Luca sighed deeply, "Compared to the Heroic Era, the Demon Emperor will be twice, if not thrice more powerful. Otherwise, it would not have been much of a serious problem, enough to require numerous gods."
"In 4:60 Divine, you say... That's just over of a decade from now. Ten years can change a lot of things."
"Indeed, sir, but that is not all. In December of this year, Bossen Province's Clearpine City will be the site of a great tragedy, with more than 15,000 deaths, at the hands of a Blood Elf army. This incident would cause a decade of war between the two factions, leading to a great death toll and losing countless people, many of which would have been critical in defending against the Demon Emperor's return." Biting his lip, the boy continued, "Among those lost in the tragedy is one Samantha Valar, a genius who would be warped into a weapon by the Blood Elves and used to exterminate the Valar bloodline."
At the mention of Samantha, eldest of the two daughters of his seven children, Arthur slammed a hand on his desk with an ominous expression, "Bullshit!" An aura of rage, a nearly physical feeling, radiated from the man, causing both youths to drop to the ground from the sudden suppression. After hearing Luca groan and Arcturus yelp, he recovered his wits, though he still had a growl to his voice, "First, a city is massacred, then my daughter is captured and tortured. A ten-year war ensues, leading to the deaths of countless people, only to weaken us to our true enemy? Outrageous."
Wiping a drop of blood from the corner of his lips after he'd bitten it mid-speech, Luca spoke again, "It is true, Your Majesty. Most of your kin will be assassinated during the ten-year war, including yourself. The only survivors will be the Third and Fourth Princes and the Second Princess. These three survive until the invasion of the demons. The first enormous wave exterminates most of the Valarian Kingdom's people, forcing many to relocate to the capital. However, when the wave reaches the capital, it only stands strong for five days before collapsing, though most refugees manage to escape via the palace. The Third Prince falls at the outer walls after three hard days of constant battle, then the Fourth Prince two days later in defence of the palace itself. The Second Princess burns her life force to defend the underground escape portal leading to the ancient mountain fortress of Skywatch, far to the north, until the last refugee escapes. The year 4:65 Divine marks the last year of the Valar bloodline and the Valarian Kingdom."
Luca did not let Arthur speak. Instead, he continued without pause, "Most Nightwalkers die in battle, save for a few that were ordered by the Second Princess to flee with the refugees, in order to leave someone that knew the palace's secret passages for those left behind. Eventually, only Cyelume and Kharnboldohr remain of the Light Faction, while the Dark Faction only had Yamelune and the Ugan Empire left. After about three years of hunkering under what remaining divine blessings that the deities had left to protect us with, some deities sacrificed themselves to create heroes to lead the Andorians against the demon hordes. Only after five gruelling years and incalculable deaths, the demons were pushed back slowly but surely until only the Demon Emperor and his final castle remained..." Given that he had experienced both wars from beginning to end, the boy retold what he knew unceasingly, telling the dark and brutal truth of the future that he lived through.
