Chapter 21 -
Erik was observing them when he saw all 4 elders smile and that relaxed him a bit (not that their smiles weren't terrifying though), the conversation seemed to go for a bit longer, then Inky took his hand as warriors brought a big piece of meat, while Erik gave away then unloaded all the spearguns from his transport, and took the meat and loaded it inside barely fitting how big it was, the warriors quickly took the spearguns and started shooting at the reed targets to the side, seeing the transaction was successful, Erik loaded the screen and got inside the transport, Inky urging him to go faster.
Unbeknownst to him, the second elder told the current leader who belonged to her faction to follow them, luckily for them the leader couldn't follow them all the way, Erik had predicted this might happen and had driven 30 minutes to the right of the plateau, going back home in a roundabout way, the leader could only go back to base exhausted to report her failure to the second elder.
2nd Elder: "and? did you find their base?"
Leader: "I lost them elder..." looking down.
2nd Elder: frowned and said, "how? after me, you should be the fastest swimmer in the tribe..."
Leader: "why follow the alien to her base though?"
the second elder smirked.
2nd Elder: "you see, even if it's an alien, that scout called her her mate, so that means we can do her, I've impregnated hundreds of our people over the years, but never an alien, she said they show their teeth when they are happy too right? so interesting~~~ can't wait!"
both the second elder and the leader had wicked smiles on their faces as they planned.

Erik felt a chill on his back.
"Okay Rose, did I lose her?"
[yes, she stopped following you due to exhaustion]
"Great, I didn't like how that beefy girl or the beefy elder looked at me, maybe making them fuckable dolls would be a better business, jeez they have too much libido"
[well, humans according to your memories reproduce all year, they can do that but they won't, according to their rules they can only impregnate females in autumn or spring, all to avoid children born in winter since they would freeze to death]

Inky meanwhile was looking at the big piece of meat and smiling happily, tonight they would have meat that's usually reserved only for the elders! also, she felt great after telling the leader off, always looking down on others weaker? well, this weak scout has given her 2 cents this time! she felt really smug, and looked at Erik, and said in her language "that's my mate! only mine! hahahahaha mine! you heard that bitch! mine! the little orphan scout gets all the glory!".
Meanwhile, Erik could only look weirded out as Inky put her hand on his shoulder and started doing whistling noises with different reverberations, he wished he could understand but really just couldn't, maybe he could teach her how to write at least, and then she could talk in Spanish like him, using an interactive tablet 🤔.
