"... Damn, most of the furniture in here has been destroyed. Mama Harpy won't be mad right?"

He muttered glancing specifically at the beautifully crafted wooden table that was completely destroyed.

Berkah casted his eyes down to his hands that were slightly trembling.

[That was actually insane...]

[I really could have died...]

A bitter grin adorned his face as he stepped outside the cave once more.

[I wonder if they'll come back...]

He mused, worried that the Wyverns would return once more.

[Well, in the two years that I've spent here, that was the first time they ever passed through here so I doubt they'd ever return.]

Berkah mused, basking his face in warmth of the morning sun.

He glanced back at his hands which had long ceased trembling.

And...

*Crackle!*

He effortlessly set them ablaze with the bright blue hues of his mana.

[This is so exciting!]

He grinned.

"I can't explain this feeling of wielding mana, it's like I'm invincible!"

He picked up a large rock that barely fit in his hands and effortlessly ground it to dust.

He turned his attention to one of the boulders encircling his nest.

He coiled up his fist.

*bang!*

His arm easily sunk into the boulder like he was punching mud, before it exploded into tiny pieces.

"..."

"... This is so freaking cool!"

Berkah exclaimed excitedly, his eyes shining brightly like a child who just got a new toy to play with.

*GROOOWL!*

[!!]

He heard a sound from beneath the clouds that sent shivers down his tiny spine.

He hurriedly rushed to the edge of the nest to see, hoping that it was just his imagination.

Deep down he knew that there was only one creature that would suddenly make such a sound from so high up in the sky.

[...No fucking way...]

He chewed his lips anxiously.

As if to confirm his worries, the Wyvern broke out of the clouds at frightening speed, the gaping wound on its snout was marred red by the color of its blood.

A ferocious killing intent shone brightly in its golden eyes and its slit pupils the size of needles.

The Wyvern ascended above the nest and began circling it at high speed, generating immense momentum.

"Are you kidding me?!"

"Why couldn't you just stay dead you fucking gecko?!"

Berkah cried out, once again setting his fist ablaze with mana, waiting for the Wyvern to attack.

The Wyvern continued circling around the nest at high speeds, the speed of each revolution greater than the last.

[Fuck... what is it doing?!]

Berkah noticed that the Wyvern was getting closer and closer to the nest whilst maintaining its rotation.

[It tilted its wings to increase its angular velocity?...]

[Fuck... centripetal force?!]

Berkah furrowed his brow and chewed his lips.

"You damn lizard!"

He screamed, glancing at the mana wrapped around his fists.

[Even if I hit it again with the same attack I'll be turned to paste before I do any significant damage!]

"Damn it!"

The Wyvern drew closer and closer, its leathery wings tearing through the air and generating a gust of wind.

[What do I do..?]

Berkah's bright blue eyes trembled.

[Do I run back inside the cave?]

[No... even if I do it'll just destroy it and I'll be buried alive!]

[...]

[Fuck it...]

"I'll face you head on!"

He grinned from ear to ear, his eyes ablaze with determination.

Berkah placed his left hand on his right and poured in more mana.

"More! More! More!"

The bright blue hues of his mana swirled and wrapped around his tiny fist, burning ferociously like an inferno.

[This isn't enough!]

"More! More! More!"

The burning mana increased to about ten times the size of his body, completely enveloping his frame.

[I need to squeeze out every last drop!]

"AAAAHHHH!"

The intensity of his mana increased, almost covering the entirety of the nest, burrowing through the bed of grass and feathers.

"MOOOORREEE!"

*Crackle!*,*SNAP!*

*Bzzzzzzzt!*

[!!]

[Huh?]

The nature of his mana changed from burning like a raging flame to crackling like lighting.

[This is... lightning?]

"Hahaha! Fuck yeah!"

Though the sun had fully risen at that point, the bright light produced from Berkah's lighting illuminated the skies

Undeterred by the energy pulsating from Berkah, the Wyvern continued garnering momentum, feeling confident in the speed and force it would soon exert on Berkah.

The Wyvern tucked its wings and tilted its body at an angle toward Berkah.

*FWOSH!*

It descended on Berkah like bullet, normally it would have been hard to follow its movements with one's eyes, but Berkah had super perception.

"SNARL!"

"AHHHH!"

Berkah extended his right arm, streams of lighting followed suit.

*BZZZZZTTT!!!*

*BOOOOM!*

Berkah connected with the Wyvern's snout, the result of the force they both exerted on each other sent shockwaves into the air.

*GROOOWL!*

The Wyvern cried out in pain as it's scales were being peeled from the inside out.

Berkah's lightning exploded inside the Wyvern.

Half the cave and the nest were completely vaporized, it was as if an incredibly large beast had bit it off.

"*huff*, *huff*"

Berkah breathed raggedly, his icy cold eyes fixed on the Wyvern sprawled on the ground, smoke rising out of its body, its scales completely removed, revealing the pinkish flesh beneath it.

It wasn't hard for Berkah to imagine just how much pain it was in, it was akin to having your nails forcible removed from their roots.

"Snaaaarlll."

"*huff*, you're still alive you fucking lizard?"

"... I'll put you out of your misery. "

He approached the semi-charred Wyvern and extended his right hand.

*bzzz —bzzzt!*

"Damn... I must be running out of mana."

[I wonder if this thing tastes good? I once reluctantly had crocodile in my old life and it was surprising tasty!]

Berkah mused, his mouth slightly drooling.

"Hehe! If you're gonna eat someone then you should also prepare to be eaten!"

He shouted, wiping the drool off his mouth.

*tap*

He placed his hand on the Wyvern's exposed skin and glanced directly into its once ferocious golden eyes now devoid of light.

"Bye-bye bitch...".

*SWIRRRRLLL!*

"HUH?!"

Instead of electrocuting the Wyvern, he felt a strange, yet familiar feeling.

"Grahh!"

The Wyvern cried out, its body twisting in anguish.

[!!]

Berkah beheld some sort of red smoke swirl into the sky and enter his body.

"Wh-what the fuck was that?!"

He cried out and felt an intense surge of energy fill his body to the brim.

Berkah glanced back at the Wyvern and his mouth went agape upon seeing the state it was in.

The Wyvern was completely mummified, it's body stiff like it had died hundreds of years ago.

[...]

"... damn... so I can't eat it anymore?"

[?!]

Suddenly, a shadow much larger than before was casted upon him.

Turning his body, he beheld a Wyvern which was almost double the size of the previous one.

[... fuck...]

"UGH! CAN I PLEASE CATCH A FUCKING BREAK!!!"

The large Wyvern opened its large mouth and a bright orange light shone through at the back of its throat.

[Of course... This one can breathe fire...]

He mused, with a blank expression on his face.
