Death Race

Final round of the Dungeons Crawl event took place the next day, only 5 teams got qualified to the final round with a maximum of 3 members for each teams.

The final round will take place for the period of 1 hour and it was organized in a way that each team will feel a sense of competition, great teamwork and a true understanding of teamwork.

For this round, they're transported into an evil forest hidden in a veil of fog, the fog get thicker and denser by their heartbeat and the main quest is to get out of the forest before the fog completely envelope the forest, of course this is not an easy quest as there are countless creatures roaming around the forest, although, not as deadly as those in the previous rounds but the creatures in this round walk in group.

The worst thing is that they don't know which side led deeper into the forest and which side led outside of it, they're just to venture blindly as they find their way out. Once the fog enveloped the forest completely, it will turn to a rain of dust including every creature inside of it. And the fog increases by the sound, state and movement of their heartbeat.

This can only be described as a Death Race as the audience couldn't think of a that would lead the participants out of the evil forest.

But somehow, they found their way out.

Team Lindsay is the first to get out of the evil forest and took the first position in the Dungeons Crawl event, but the sad thing is that out of the three members in Team Lindsay that participate in the final round, only one of them came out of the evil forest alive and they're the only team who lost two of their members in the final round.

It's not as if the three members cannot come out alive, but they did what others can not do and that's what made them come out with the first position.

They sacrificed.

The other two members got sacrificed for the third one to get out of the forest in time and safe. The creatures populating the forest are not very strong but they're formidable because they move in groups, they move in a swarm of the same and different species.

The worst thing is that, while fighting a group, another group will appear and another and another, until they're overwhelming for the team and eventually lost all their members.

Of course, they can escape these creatures by running away, but the first team that did this had quickly realized how clingy these creatures are as they run after them and won't let them go until they're killed or they got killed, unwanted guests were also attracted as these creatures run after the team, so none of them tried it again. They simply stood their ground and fight them till death.

The creatures are weak after all, and one person can take on ten of them within minutes, but fighting these creatures constantly also decreased their chances of getting out of the forest in time as the time moves by their heartbeat.

So Team Lindsay had quickly came up with a tactics, after knowing the way to go that will lead them out of the forest, they started sacrificing themselves one by one. At the early period, they encountered about five hordes of different creatures all together and they dealt with them with relatively ease but so much time was wasted.

As they move on, the hordes of creatures they encounter started increasing and realizing it will take forever if it continue that way, one of them have decided to face the hordes alone while the other two find an escape route and continue onwards, the same thing happens to the second member but at this period, they were already close to the outer post of the forest and the creatures attacking them are overwhelming, so he stayed and stall them while the last member found his way out of the forest, coming out at the top.

Only two teams survived the final round, others perished in the evil forest, but still, they got awarded according to their performance. The two teams that survived the last round got the first and second position while others were given medals and awards.

Events for that day ended and just as the next day arrived, what some people have been waiting for also came with it. The final round of the martial art event which is between Lindsay Academy and Straitgate College, a team of five members facing off a single person.

It somehow sounds unfair but both the audiences and the Lindsay team of five members knew how deadly and dangerous the boy is, the two schools have faced off in the football semi final which was just a few days ago and now, they're also facing off in the final stage of the martial art event. It just shows how serious their rivalry is.

Although, even if Straitgate College win the final round of the martial event, they still won't be the winner of the APST as Lindsay Academy still have the final round to play in football, but if they also lose the football final, then the winner of the APST will be between Straitgate and Royal Maniac as it will means that both of them have won the two main events each. The winner will be decided on their performance so far in all events of the tournament.

But if Lindsay loss the martial art and won the football final, the APST has automatically become theirs and if they won the martial art and loss in football, the APST will still be theirs' as they've won one of the two main events with one other event which is dungeons crawl, and also took second in the other main event.

The fans believed that the latter is likely to happen as the team they're facing in the football final is just as fierce and dangerous as Lindsay Academy themselves.

But what they didn't expect is for Lindsay Academy to lost the martial art final to the lone boy representing Straitgate College. It's really a shock to them.

On the single raised stage of the martial art arena, a single boy stood in a complete red martial arts costume with two battle axe resting on his waist, standing opposite him is a group of five students, each of them wearing a yellow martial art costume with their weapons by their side. Three girls and two boys. Two among the three girls had two short whips resting on their shoulder while the third one had a long silvery sword by her side. The two boys had daggers and a dual sword by their side.

A single man in white martial art costume stood in between the five and the single boys and as the timer at the top of the arena got to zero, the man moves out of their middle and claps his hand.

"Let the match begin!"

The single boy was the first to charge forward and as he moves, a swarm of golden rings move after him, swinging his hand forward, the rings flew past him heading straight for the group of five students and at the same time, another swarm of rings appeared behind him and joined together, forming two large golden chain.

He wrapped the chain around his arm holding it like the two whips the girls are holding, then he wrapped the head of the chain around the two battle axe by his side before moving it forward and swung it towards the group.

They've already engaged with the swarm of rings at that time and it seems like the girl with the long silvery sword is the only one busy with the ring, the others just stood at the front staring at him display, the two boys easily avoided the chain and charged towards him, each of them with their weapons held out. The boy with the dagger threw it straight at him but it was easily avoided and as the dagger got past him, it was stop by another swarm of rings that had appeared behind him moments ago.

The boy with dual sword engaged him with his blade moving flawlessly, the boy quickly retracted the chain, wrapping it more around his arm as he moves it up, blocking the boy's oncoming blade. The other boy have successfully retracted his dagger from the rings with his ability and Alice have also disperse the swarm of rings as she joined the other two girls standing at the back.

"Do you think they can handle him?"

She asked the girls as the boy blocked their teammate's attack.

"They should be fine but we'll join in if he gives them some trouble."

With the chain still wrapped around his arm after blocking the attack, he held the two axe tightly and swung it aggressively at the boy who retreated awkwardly, with the axe still in the embrace of the chain, he was able to use it well, he continue swinging it furiously making the boy moves back in an awkward manner and as he swings the axe, he was releasing the chain from his arm making the attack get to the boy while he stood in one place.

A dagger flew towards his face and as he moves back to avoid the dagger, he felt something sharp pierced his shin, he did a desperate back flip, completely avoiding the dagger heading towards him and as he got his balance back, he could see a similar dagger on his shin.

Before he could do anything, the boy with dual blade was upon him again, and at the same time, the dagger was digging a hole into his shin.

Desperate to save himself, he made the boy get past the loosened chain on the floor that was wrapped around the axe and as the boy get past them, he drags it furiously making the chain moves with the axe heading straight to the charging boy's skull from behind.
