Three Drink’s of Angels Wish

The demon wore a black and white fit. He wore a white top hat with a black line wrapped around it. He had a white coat with 6 red buttons, a red and black vest underneath, and black suit pants. Black boots can be seen on his feet. He has white gloves and a black bowtie. On his head is a monocle with a red gem that is placed above his left eye.

Xylothar walked up, and Amaris followed behind him. The demon locked eyes with Xylothar and grinned.

"Do you want to drink, fine gentleman?" the demon asked, his voice raspy. Xylothar waled to a brown hard chair and sat down.

"Three with an angel's wish." Xylothar responded. Amaris sat down beside Xylothar confused, but followed along.

"Oh? Been a while since one has ordered that." The demon said as looked deeply at Xylothar.

"What area do you wish the drink to be made in? As you know, different places have different flavours." The demon said, whipping down a glass cup. His movements are nice and elegant.

"A round crystal mountain. Where the Church of Light archangel Michael lies," Xylothar responded. The demon nodded and began working. He walked to the back door and opened it up, and inside was a vast set of bookshelves full of various books and documents. The demon grabbed three certain books and put them on a table.

The demon then got a glass bottle that held a red drink inside with a black cork. He put a cup in front of Amaris, Xylothar, and him and filled up their glass with the drink.

Xylothar looked at Amaris and signalled for her to not drink the drink, and Amaris nodded in response.

"That will be 30,000 Tamashii," the demon said with a gentle smile, pushing up his monocle. Xylothar took out 30,000 Tamashii and pushed it forward.

"Hehe, a gentleman you are." The demon laughed out. The demon then opened the three books and slid it to Xylothar.

The books were labelled in a demonic language which Amaris couldn't comprehend, but Xylothar read it flawlessly. The book looked brand new, like it had just been published. Xylothar flipped the pages and saw a bunch of information, his crimson eyes scanning each page diligently. Amaris sat idly, her curiosity growing with each passing minute. Xylothar flipped to one page that caught his eyes and read it.

The title read, "Purge." Although it might sound simple, this is about the angels that sever their holy god. If something has "Purge" and it's about the angels, the holy god has some weird plan brewing. Xylothar flipped the page, and the more he read, the more confused he got. He stopped reading and closed the book.

Xylothar waved at the demon as he grabbed the three books with his left hand. Amaris and Xylothar left the Jiuguan and walked through the marketplace.

"I've got the information I wanted." Xylothar murmured as he glanced at Amaris.

"Where will we go now?" Amaris asked, her eyes darting through the busy streets. Xylothar stayed silent and walked through the streets with Amaris in tow. Xylothar then paused abruptly and turned to Amaris.

"Hey there, girl. In five years, there will be a lot of changes to the current world." Xylothar commented out of the blue. Amaris tilted her head, unsure what he meant.

"Five years? Does that have something to do with the book you read?" Amaris questioned, her gaze inquisitive. Xylothar sighed and shook his head.

"I don't have enough information, but in five years there will be a war between the angels and demons. In fact, you humans will be the ones who suffer the most." Xylothar informed, his expression grim. Amaris furrowed her brows, confused by Xylothar's sudden revelation.

"I see. Well, why are you telling me this?" Amaris asked, uncertain why Xylothar chose her to inform. Xylothar paused, contemplating his next words. He locked eyes with Amaris, his gaze filled with determination.

"I want you to be on my side, like I said before. With your abilities, you'll definitely be in the front lines. So I wish in five years we meet up at the Underground Bloodhole. If you don't show up, I know your answers," Xylothar responded as he turned around, the marketplace bustling around them.

Amaris stood frozen, uncertain how to react. But she kept up with Xylothar and followed him as they navigated through the crowd.

As they were moving forward, a sudden commotion occurred in front of them. There was a crowd forming a circle, and inside the crowd were two demons. Xylothar walked closer, Amaris right beside him. Xylothar and Amaris pushed through the crowd and saw that two demons were fighting, but it was one sided. One demon was being kicked by the other demon, with no means to resist. The crowd was roaring, chanting for the one-sided demon.

Xylothar eyes the demons, his face stoic. He then locked eyes with Amaris, a strange gleam in his eyes.

"What do you think of this?" Xylothar asked Amaris. She frowned and looked back at the two demons, confused by his question.

"What do you mean? They're just two demons fighting." Amaris responded, unsure what Xylothar was hinting.

Xylothar eyes locked onto the two demons, his gaze piercing.

"What's the difference between this and humans?" Xylothar asked, his voice filled with intensity. Amaris stood frozen, unable to respond. Xylothar shook his head, disappointed in her reaction.

"Look at these two demons. If it were humans, nothing would change. Same with angels. They don't stop infighting, but when someone is about to die, they will. Why? Because they have rules, but us demons don't. Put it simply, you guys just have rules, but us demons don't and act however we like," Xylothar explained, his eyes ablaze. Amaris stood stunned, absorbing Xylothar's words.

"Demons are cruel, selfish, and brutal creatures. But so are humans and angels. They just fear the rules because someone is stronger than them, and has more power. But demons have no such thing." Xylothar added on, his crimson eyes blazing. Amaris was shocked, unsure of how to react. She had never seen Xylothar like this, his intensity burning into her soul.

"If we merge the three realms into one place where laws and rules take place, don't you think everyone can live peacefully?" Xylothar asked, his eyes filled with hope.

Amaris nodded her head. What he said was reasonable and could definitely work.

"Wrong, you fool," Xylothar said, his eyes turning cold. Amaris froze, surprised by Xylothar cold change.

"Humans, angels, and demons can never coexist. It will never work. Everyone will still fight and kill each other because someone has more power than them. Emotions will always rule their minds and drive them to do stupid things." Xylothar's voice filled with disgust. Amaris remained silent, unable to refute his arguments.

Xylothar glanced at the crowd, his crimson eyes filled with disdain. He turned to Amaris, his gaze solemn.

"In five years, I wish to hear your views on the world. Don't think in black and white where demons are evil while angels are good. It's not true, both have faults. Both sides aren't truly good." Xylothar's voice resounded.

Amaris listened to every word, his message imprinted in her heart. Xylothar's expression lit up a bit and signalled for Amaris to follow him.
