Chapter 4

The day was definietly one of the better ones. The weather was clear, the air was relatively calm and nothing could interrupt the crew's fun.

As planned, the entire team of eight, arrive in the islands that were designated for the training ground to not attract any unwanted attention. "All right people, unpack and set up the basics."

"Roger." James said as he quickly spawned an magical energy axe and cut down few trees in the island, and used magic to turn them into planks, to build up a primitive gazebo. "Will do?"

"Yup. For now..." Kira said as she went to the gazebo and put the bags. "We will set up the base... Kimiko, in the meanwhile, can you help our new member in learning how to fly?"

"Sure." Kimiko said as she deployed her demonic wings and approached Kenji grabbing him by the shirt.

"Wait... Wait what the fuck?" Kenji asked as he stares at Kimiko. "What are you... oh no no no~!"

"Relax, you will get it in first try..." Kimiko said as they both found themselves 5000 meters up in the skies. "Deploy your wings..."

Kenji instinctively deployed his wings with the aureole on the back, and stared at her. "And now what?"

Kimiko smirked as he asked it, letting him go.

"SHOULD NOT HAVE ASKED THAT!" Kenji yelled out as he was trying to get himself oriented. The only luck he had with the wings was the fact he could try to glide, but to no success as he fell down on the ground which resulted in Kimiko making a facepalm and the crew stare at him, as he swimmed down to the place.

"Kira... As much as I like Kenji from the work enviroment we are in... This will be the hardest type of training for him." James said as he supported himself against the tree.

"Why do you think that?" Kira asked as she got closer to James.

"Because our minds as military operators are not desinged for air to air using our bodies. I only managed to get it because I got a pilot license... Kenji got to keep on repeating this." James said as he watched his friend close up on them.

"This felt weird." Kenji said as he tried to move out the water from the wings as the aureole kept spinning slowly.

"As a demon - i think it's easy... It might be your source of power." Hideki said as he relaxed on the tree.

"What makes you think that, Hideki?" Kenji asked as he stared at him, as he cut out the skin of the apple before he started eating it.

"Demons usually get it after first try, maybe second one. I do not know about the angels tho." Hideki said as he deployed his wings and jumped down, moving his wings up and down to get the lift. "See? Easy."

"For you..." Kenji said as he let out a sigh.

"Bro - get in the sky. KIMIKO YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO LAUNCH HIM OUT!" James yelled out which made Kenji panic a bit.

"Wait wait wait - you are not seriouuuuus~!" Kenji said as he got lifted again by Kimiko this time at double of the height.

"Ready?" Kimiko asked as she let him go.

"FUCK YOU KIMIKO!" Kenji yelled out as she let him go, making him fall down.

"GLADLY! RAW OR CONDOM?!" Kimiko yelled out as she laughed at his response.

"RAW! I WILL MAKE THE BED BREAK!" Kenji said as he tried to focus.

"Oh?" Kimiko smiled with enthusiasm as she licked her lips, and bite them. "Then make your threats come true." Kimiko said as she licked her finger, observing him falling down.

"Stupid.. Come on focus focus.." Kenji said as he closed his eyes and thought for a moment about the surrounding area and reminded himself about the aureole, and focused on it. This cause the aureole to burn, which resulted in the wings to burn, as he slowed down, and stopped ultimately above the ground with the wings moving back and forth. "IT WORKED!"

"Nice..." Rika said as she noticed that... "Hold on should the wings act like that?" Rika asked as she stared at the others.

"I do not think so." Kira said as she stared at the wings.

Kenji turned around and looked at Kimiko, and lift himself up by flapping his wings once, with force equivalent of a heli rotors and stopped near Kimiko. "So... Afraid?"

"Of what?" Kimiko asked as she put the finger on her lip. "Bed being broken?"

"Eh... What's wrong with you?" Kenji asks as he puts a hand on his shoulder, constantly focusing on flying.

"Ah, so Kira did not told you~?" Kimiko asked as she flew closer and put a hand on his chest and leaned on the ears. "I'm a sadist."

Kenji got scared for a moment as he flew back. "Shit..."

"Yup. So... Shall we continue the training?" Kimiko asked as she looked at the crew on the ground, and then at Kenji.

"Kimiko... Don't try to take what's mine." Kira said as she folded her chest.

"Oh, Afraid of competition, boss?" Kimiko asked as she squeezed her own chest. "I can do it all day."

"Damn slut." Kira said as she deploed her wings and flapped them once to gain lift, and approached them both. "I am serious Kimiko."

"Please, Kira... Taking your pets? Not in my style." Kimiko said as she smiled, getting Kira upset.

This made Kira look at Kimiko with a threatning look as she stared at Kimiko"Anyways continue with your training. We need to get you up to speed as fas as we can when it comes to flight." Kira said as she stared at Kimiko... "We will talk later, Kimiko."

"Ara-ara, I'm afraid." Kimiko said with a lewd, cocky grin on her face.

"Damn them sometimes." Kira said under her nose as she landed on the beach.

"All right... What now..?" Kenji asked as he stared at Kimiko.

"Now... We fight." Kimiko said as she opened her hand and summoned a portal, that dropped a volleyball and threw the ball at him, surrounding the ball with mana for greater end result.

Kenji had difficult time catching the ball, so he instinctively projected the shield in front of him to slow down the ball as much as possible which succeeded, but barely. When he catched it, Rika approached Kira who was now resting on the beach, watching the two.

"Boss." Rika said as she gave her the smartphone. "It's Rodgers."

"What does he want?" Kira asked as she was genuienly surprised, as she haven't heard from him in days. Weeks even. She cheerfully took the smartphone from Rika and answered the call.. "Rodgers you old bastard, where have you been?"

Rodgers chuckled as he heard that cheerfull, but bratty response. "Ah, Kira... Bratty Princess Morningstar. How nice to hear you." He said as he chuckled with doctor Chang being nearby. "I'm out of commision for two weeks." Rodgers himself was a muscled man, as big as a bear, but with a kind hearth, sporting two scars shaped like lightning bolt going through both of his eyes, having white hair as well, balding a bit.

"What happend?" Kira asked as she got worried suddently.

"Nothing serious - last fight with a rouge demon got me almost dead - Luckily..." Rodgers said as he stared at the doctor. "Doctor Chang managed to pick me up." He said as if it was nothing. As usual of him.

"So... Good to know - but is that all why you called or there is something more. You do not call to chit chat." Kira asked as she heard out his full story, but pointed out this one difference for him.

"Ah yes - I forgot - you gotta find a replacement for me on today afternoon... For the meeting with that lovely cougar i made a deal with month ago." Rodgers said as he cheerfully reminded himself about the meeting. "Miss Sato. Beautifull redhead."

She let out a chuckle as she heard it. "Always the ladies huh? All right... I will have a replacement for you today." Kira said as she turned her head around, keeping the smile.

"Thanks boss." Rodgers said as he smiled, before hanging out.

"All right, that's the end of the training, Kimiko, Kenji~!" Kira yelled out as she gave the phone to Rika.

"Should we?" Kenji asked as he was about to throw the ball at Kimiko.

"Yea, it may be something important." Kimiko said as she landed down and hid her wings, same with Kenji who landed seconds after, hiding his feather wings, making the aureole on his back dissapear. "What is it?"

"Well... Rodgers is out of commision for a contract today with a client... Considering this is Keni's first day - you go." Kira said as she made a smirk, and corrected her breasts in the bra.

"You sure? That lady was a hard contract to get for Rodgers." James said as he got into the conversation.

"I know... But we got no choice. You go - Kimiko open the portal." Kira nods at Kimiko, as she snaps a finger, with Kimiko nodding in agreement.

Kimiko opens a magical circle in the middle of the air and puts fingers inside few runes that show up and makes a rift happen in between Kimiko and Kenji, with the portal having seemingly empty space inside. "Go through. No worries I always use these for instant travel."

"All right... Will I get a chance to dress up before I will go in?" Kenji asked as he stared at the portal.

"Forgot about that. Dress up." Kira nods as she throws him the clothes he took out, with him putting them on.

"Something for self defense, please?" Kenji asked as he looked around, with James nodding as he opened a small portal and threw him a Mosin Nagant. "Mosin?"

"Better Mosin than nothing. Don't bitch." James said as Kenji puts on the gun and walks through the portal.

"Think something bad will wait for him there?" Kira asked as she looks at James.

"Yup... Plus it's always good to use a gun for self defense." James nods as he stars at the portal that closed off the moment Kenji went through it.
