If a Divine wanted to venture out and hunt monsters, there were usually three legal ways to do so.

First, one could apply to become a government official and be assigned to a cohort, and would venture out to hunt on a fixed schedule.

This was the easiest and most general way to become stronger, but it had a lot of drawbacks. For instance, once you become part of the government, your every action would be strictly monitored, and could only do what you were told.

Achilles crossed this option out immediately since not only that he didn't want to lose his freedom, he just killed an official a week ago. It would be a stupid move to apply to join the government.

The second solution was to join the other superpowers that ruled over this city, the mafias. If he were to become a part of them he would still be put under control but the degree would be lessened.

Of course, this got removed from his plan as well due to a similar reason as the first option. Not to mention that he would have to commit some atrocities if he were to join a mafia.

Achilles didn't consider himself to be a hero or some kind of savior, but he wouldn't tolerate harming innocents who didn't do anything to him.

Only in some particular circumstances would he attempt to do such.

...Like when he killed that official.

'...It was necessary to do so, otherwise, I would have been in serious trouble.' He shook his head and shifted his attention to the third option, to become independent.

Some strong Divine who believed in their capabilities and liked to go solo usually chose this way.

To do this one needed to go make a license that would allow them able to leave the city to go hunt alone without any problem. Although they needed to pay 10 percent of their spoils of war.

Those who belonged to a mafia were an exception to this.

Achilles must go to a government branch or headquarter within the city if he chose this way. However, anything related to the government could potentially expose him.

But it wasn't necessary to risk himself like that.

'A forgery, all I have to do is to make a forgery of the license.'

Although the government and the mafia had come to an agreement to ban the creation of forgery documents, items..etc, and also used a special method to prevent the creation of forgeries, there was one place where one could still be able to make such things.

'It's settled then, I'll go there after this.'

The bulky man's wallet that Achilles stole had quite a large sum of Nero, it wouldn't be enough to bribe anybody, but sufficient for him to go and make some extra Nero.

Naturally, there was only one place like that where a broke person like him could go.

"...The casino." The corner of his lips lifted up a little.

He stood up and grabbed the wallet from the small table's drawer. After checking the remaining amount of money within it, he walked to the closet and took a black hoodie. He put the hoodie on letting it cover most of his face. He moved slowly toward the front door, touched the handle, and twisted the door open.

"Time to go make some money."He mumbled slightly under his breath.

'...Wait, did I forget something?' He suddenly stopped in front of the door and held his chin as he thought to himself.

'Probably just my imagination.' He decided to shake it off because he could not remember what it was.

Achilles got outside the room and slammed the door shut, a locking sound could be heard then echoes of footsteps grew smaller until they could not be heard anymore.

Around 5 hours later, at night time, in the southeast section of the city.

At an incredibly large building that resembled a dome with a glass ceiling. Multiple expensive flying cars could be seen landing near the entrance of the building.

Men and women wearing expensive and glamorous outfits was seen walking out of the vehicles with their partners in their arms. They all had wide smiles on their faces as they moved inside the building.

Among them, a tall figure wearing black pants and a hoodie covering most of his face could be spotted standing still looking at the casino.

He created a contrasting sight to those around him who were dressing fancifully, this made him receive weird looks from those around him as they all thought of one thing inside their minds:

'Why's there such a poor fool here?'

Achilles didn't mind much about the gazes from those around him as he started taking calm footsteps inside the casino.

He came in front of the entrance of the building, he was stopped by two guards as they inspected him to see If he was carrying any weapons and asked him to remove the hoodie as they checked his ID. Achilles let them do as they please and after a few moments, they stepped aside and let him enter the casino.

Even though the way Achilles dressed clearly showed that he was not at the same level of status as the other guests coming to the casino, he was still allowed to go in since the casino didn't have any rules that ban common folks from entering it.

As long as you had an ID and the money to bet, then you were free to enter and leave as you pleased.

It was a risky move to show his face but the risk was something he must take at this moment.

Achilles went inside the room and glanced around to examine his surroundings. Once he did so, he couldn't help but exclaim at the sights within the casino.

It was a large hall with a glass lantern that released bright light that illuminated the entire hall. Multiple tables had games like poker, and jack black,...along with people seated around those tables raising a bet.

'So extravagant...'

Achilles quickly snapped out of his trance and swiftly moved to the cashier's station. He knocked lightly at the table to receive the cashier's attention. He flashed a small smile and said to the employee:

"I want to get some tokens please?"

"How much do you wish to exchange"The cashier said with no particular emotion.

'Hmm...good service, normally in these places people like I am usually get looked down upon, but the employees here are rather indifferent about this.' Achilles was rather impressed by these employees' attitudes.

"Around a thousand Nero please." He said as he took out the money from his wallet and placed them on the table.

"May I see your ID?" The cashier added after looking at the money.

Achilles took out a small card and showed it to the cashier. The latter looked at it for a while, then nodded his head slightly:

"Very well Mr.Walter, please wait here for a moment."

The cashier took the money and went inside the cashier station. Achilles stood there silently without saying a word as he thought:

'Luckily, My old ID was still at my house when I got back there a few days ago.'

Achilles might get rich from this
