Chapter 3
A few minutes earlier (while Tom was at home)
Tom: alright time for lunch. *I think I'll have something small*.
Ring Ring …
Tom: Hey bro what is it? Then Jerry explained everything Dave said to tom after that he then said… Tom: That's bullshit!
Jerry: it isn't but the point is we aren't safe. I just wanted to let you know. Tom: ok then we'll talk later.
A few minutes after Tom hung up the phone…
Ring Ring…
Tom: What is it this time? Caller: is this the Wilson residence? Tom: yeah so? Caller: this is James freeman from St. James Hospital. I'm sorry to tell you this but, Mr. Wilson has been fatally injured.
After hearing that Tom dropped the phone in disbelief before picking it up asking if this was some kind of joke but it wasn't. Tom then burst into tears knowing that our dad (the man he was closest to) was on the brink of death.
2 hours later…
Tom: Why… why… does this always happen to me!!? *in life I always got the short end of the stick, every day dad just tells me "why can't you be more like your brother? He's brilliant, hard-working, and he doesn't ask for anything in return. After that he just takes me out for dinner, we laugh together and just call it a day. But with mom things were different, she never saw anything wrong with me, there was nothing about me I had to change with her, she always told me that even if she loved Jerry more, I would always be the first thing she thought of when she woke up. But that was after she disappeared and last I heard she was caught in a shoot-out and died from a stray bullet but we don't even know how true that is.
Jake always was better than me in everything, he's smarter stronger and better than me in everything I can think of so when I heard that I was going to be weaker than Jake and Jerry, I didn't care. It was just another reason my life sucks…
Suddenly the door opened and there came Jerry with a devastating look on his face.
Jerry: Tom, I heard what happened from Dave… Dad is unconscious and is currently on life support. The driver of the truck who hit dad said his brakes failed, it turned out someone cut them. I promise on my life the people who did this will pay dearly. Anyway Dave will be living with us for the time being, I'll go make us some dinner.
Tom: tell me something. Why are you always like this? Jake: how? Tom: how are you so calm and chill?
Jerry: why not? Dad is in the hospital right now and we need to stay strong and prepared for anything. That's what Dad would want isn't it?
Tom: … You don't get it do you? Then Tom began yelling: I CAN'T BE CALM! Look at me, I've been Crying for the past 2 hours and thinking to myself how you're always better than me in everything! Did you know what the last thing Dad told me was? It was to copy your example. You've always stood out whenever people talk about us whether in public or online you always get attention. Now look at me, everything in my life is overlooked and sometimes I feel like the only reason I'm relevant is because of you. I'm weak, defenseless, I'm not that smart but you're the opposite of that. Even so you're my brother I've always looked up to you and still do so I'll say this one day I'll become as great as… just before Tom finished his sentence Jerry came and slapped him in the face.
Jerry: Do you really think this is easy on me? The only reason I'm like this is because dad has always treated me as an afterthought. It felt like dad cared about anything else but me. That's why I worked hard. I always studied I trained myself to fight so no one would worry about me and every time we went to Japan the thing I enjoyed the most was the 2 hours of lecture dad would always give me about life cuz that's the only sign he had that he cared for me, and I was fine with that. Now do you really think I'm just calm? If it wasn't for Jake and Dave I would be locked in my room till who knows when, but that won't change anything that's why I picked myself up and said this isn't wont dad would want. I should be strong like him. Then Jerry stretched his hand to his brother and said, but I can't do it alone. Let's face this together brother. Then Tom grabbed his brothers hand and said "alright then… brother".
The next day…
Tom: Wait, so basically after the entire war Sasuke still wanted to fight? Sam: Yeah, his character is actually really complicated anyway, I'll see you later. Tom: see you later Sam…
Meanwhile…
Lisa's Mom: LISA!!! GET DOWN HERE YOUNG LADY!!! Lisa: Ok mother! Alright I'm here now.
Lisa's mom: Why must you always be so carefree? Don't you know you're the next head of our clan?
Lisa: I know mother. You really don't need to tell me that every 10 seconds.
Lisa's mom: ugh… if your father was still alive and he saw what you became what do you think he would say?
Lisa: UGH… you always bring him up, it's like whenever something goes wrong with me that's the only time you talk about him.
Mom: watch your tone young lady, now get dressed because were having a visit from One of Japan's Richest CEOs.
Lisa: Again? That's the 4th time this week! Fine, I'll get ready…
Back to Tom…
Tom: *I'm glad for what Jerry said now I think I can just pull through because that's what dad would want*
Suddenly Tom bumped into someone… Tom: oh sorry about that.
Takeshi: oh don't worry about that I was planning to bump into you anyway…
Suddenly Tom was surrounded by men in black.
Kidnapper 1: Boss looks like we found one of them early.
Takeshi: We?
Kidnapper 1: sorry sir you.
Takeshi: you know I would usually chop of your head while I incinerate you for saying that but I'll let it slide just this ounce. Now let's finish the job.
Tom: oh shit, I'm screwed…
