An Invitation
"There is a disaster about to fall on us, ladies and gentlemen," began Richard Cross.
All the guild leaders present there immediately looked at him with confused looks. They were also a little surprised.
They didn't expect that Richard Cross would get straight to the point, not bothering to make small talk even though it was rare for all of them to gather together like this.
Then they exchanged glances at each other. In the end, they accepted that Richard Cross really didn't want to make small talk and immediately put on a serious attitude.
