2. Body

White filled Blake's mind as he awoke. He felt like he was consistently being broken down and molded over and over. Instead of a feeling of uncomfort as one might expect, it felt more like a warm feeling.

Soon, Blake opened his eyes and jerked up. He inspected his hands and looked downward, something had gone wrong.

Instead of being reincarnated, Blake has awoken into a full grown body that was laid on an abandoned operating table. Not only that, there was a scar that protruded upward from his stomach all the way to his chest.

He let out a sigh to release stress as he struggled to get up. He seated himself upward and looked around the room.

The room was quite small, there was a sink and a mirror with cabinets close by. A closet was in the corner of the room

If he had to guess, this had to be an examining room of some sort.

Blake used both of his hands to get up from the table and stabilize his feet, when he first attempted to walk he was unable to and fell slightly, but his hands kept a firm grip ensuring he stayed up.

Soon enough, he worked out the kinks in his body and moved to the mirror where he looked at himself with a strange expression.

He had blonde hair that seemed like it was in a permanent bed-head style, his eyes were blue with shades of purple thrown in. All of this accompanied by his feminine but exceedingly attractive face made Blake somewhat shocked.

'I knew I didn't peak in school..' Blake joked to himself in his head.

With a chuckle he walked towards a closet that was in the corner of the room and opened it. He found a pair of white gowns and put it on as he was currently naked.

Now that Blake was decent, he was ready to find out where he was exactly. Slowly he creaked the door open and looked from left to right, there was nobody. Only a hallway with many doors.

He walked out slowly as to be as quiet as he could and walked around the area. The place was so quiet that he could hear the faint echoes of his feet as he walked across the shiny white floor.

Seeing as there was not even a slight sign of life, Blake began to openly explore.

He opened the door to a room close to him and it was filled with computers and a control panel of sorts.

His head hovered over a monitor that clearly said "Soul Advancement Project". His heart began to race.

"What is this?" Blake questioned himself, knowing there would be no answer back.

The screen changed to one with lines of data.

"Soul Advancement Project

Version 1.1

Patient NO. 1

Status: Alive

Potential: Unknown

Soul: Warrior

Battery Pack: N/A

Destiny: Overcome mortality only to die by the hands of **** at ****. Soul is to be recollected at the soul palace and reformed to *****. Authorized by "Soul Examiner Darv".

"What.. what is this?" Blake questioned to himself but was met with an answer that came from the computer.

"Welcome Patient NO. 1. I am the Soul Advancement Operator, you may be confused about your reincarnation but let me explain. I am not your enemy."

"What the fuck! What do you mean you're not my enemy?! What's this about my destiny? HUH?!" Blake said in a moment of panic.

The computer made an audible sigh.

"Just let me finish. The Soul Palace that is in charge of reincarnation is attempting to gather powerful souls after they are reincarnated, the reason is unknown. That is not the important part, what is important is that you picked Warrior."

"Oh yeah? Why is that?" Blake asked as he digested the information being thrown at him.

"For one, you have no potential limit. For two, you now have me. You created me in one of your past lives to assist the you now. If you had chosen any other options not only would you surely be doomed, you would not have me." The computer answered back.

".. I see." Blake nodded his head a few times in understanding.

"So.. where am I? What am I supposed to do?" Blake asked once more.

"You are currently in the Soul Advancement Foundation, created by you. You will be sent to many different worlds from here and your goal will be to gain the power there and eventually combine them all into one. There will also surely be people who have retained their memories, used powerful battery packs, or have a strong destiny. Those with strong destinies surely have a golden finger."

"What's a golden finger?" Blake replied confusedly.

"Those with a cheat advantage in that world. This could be formed in many different ways, just as you have one. They could have a sentient system that allows them to grow stronger easily, they could have an ability to kill anyone they want once a day, the list goes on."

"And how am I to defeat them?" Blake replied annoyed. How was he expected to win against these monsters?

"No worries. You have a chance to obtain the souls of those you kill and meld them to your own here in the Soul Advancement Foundation. You won't be able to gain certain things or have them be as strong as they were, but they will surely assist you."

Blake smiled. "When do I begin?"

"You can begin anytime. Just enter any of the rooms and lay down on an operating table. Your soul will be transported to another body in another world. They all have their own power rankings but for simplicity I will explain the levels to you and this will also appear in the Observe skill."

3. Legendary

4. Godly

These are the current rankings for soul strength.

As for the current bodily power rankings it goes as follows;

1. Mortal

2. Enhanced

3. Semi Divine

4. Divine

5. Indestructible

6. Planetary

I will add more above them as you grow. For now, please enter one of the rooms as see what world you are to enter."

Blake smiled and nodded. He left the room and opened one that was three doors down, he wanted it to be completely random.

He laid down on the operating table and soon his vision turned to black.
